Looks like your stable might be similar to mine, 2018 Focus ST-2 and a 2015 Mustang GT Prem PP. I'm 71 yrs old now so not too much into the mods these days. My wife has a 2020 Fusion titanium with the 2.0L front wheel drive and it's not a bad car to drive either. Nice video covering your mods!

Im going to do this swap to my MK2 ST/XR5i .. Buying these in the US because its sooo much cheaper.. and let them send them to Germany.

very cool tutorial, not 100% but if you've done brakes you really dont need all the uninstall/install details. Ive been to many track days and lots of intense weekend back road cruises, and the stock ST brakes are terrible. They will fade very quickly if you're on them for consecutive corners. I have Hawk DTC-60 pads, ss lines, and Motul 600 high temp fluid, and it made a DRASTIC difference on the track. I have a separate set of rotors/pads/wheels/tires for the track vs daily...so I just swap the Hawk stuff off after racing. Im picking up my buddy's Brembo RS calipers for the front with SS lines and some rotors.. you do lose the dust shield but the brake performance increase is well worth it. I'll prob keep the rears as the stock ST set up since i already have good rotors/pads for it.. but once they're shot i'll look into the RS rotor/Mazda bracket like you did here. Cars on its way! Lots of improvements others wont notice until they see how well you perform and wonder 'what all you've done to it' ^_^ I get asked a lot on the cruises with high powered V8's and supercars at the track (ZR1's, GT3/GT2's, etc) what all i have done, and i tell them its a stock turbo and stock motor with just FBO and E30...they cant believe it. These cars really do very well on a track with a good driver, and braking/cooling are your biggest enemies. Get yourself a quality oil cooler too..temps get real high on the track.

Nice vid. I see you had the 'Premium' wheels sitting by, not the snowflakes. That said, you mention using 3mm spacers for clearance, and put a caption stating 'for snowflakes'. So, do your 'Premium' wheels fit without spacers? thx in advance

I see that you needed the retaining springs. Does the front caliper come with retaining pins and bleed screws? I figure if the springs are separate I need to be sure about the other parts. Also, did you keep the rear ST pads or upgrade to RS pads? I figure the RS pads make sense for the same friction properties. A grabby rear might not be wise... The red paint was very clever. I didn't think you could DIY and have it look so GOOD.

Do you know what color code the factory paint is on the stock calipers? When i do mine I think I’m gonna paint them the Ford oem Race Red color. Awesome video man, and very helpful.

question bout the front calipers... do you use the ST front caliper bolts or RS ones?

Did you have to swap to an RS master cylinder? Or is the volumetric flow rate pretty much the same as ST calipers?

I keep finding the stoptech stainless steel braided brake line part numbers being the same for both the ST and RS. Anyone have experience with this?
