This will add NVH. Wheel hop is greatly improved, also amazing how it changes shifting. No longer do you have to feather into gear to avoid clunking. But the vibration at slow take offs make this a give and take mod. The improvement in shift quality for me out weighs the vibration. I was thinking about drilling out maybe 2 - 4 of the holes to soften the mount just a little...

Just installed this on my 2016 FoST and it really makes a huge difference. Shifts are smoother and the slop is gone when leaving from a stop. Feels like a different car.

I lost the oem bolt you unscrew @ 3:52 any chance you can tell me the size so I can buy a replacement? (I reinstalled the stock mount) It's the only ford oem parts screw that's not listed unfortunately. I would really appreciate this as the screw I have in there now is too short and makes me nervous it's going to snap.

Installed one of these on my '16 FoST a few months ago. Definitely a noticeable decline in torque steer, but the additional NVH almost makes it not worth it. After months my car still shakes at idle. I thought it would settle in a soften some but it hasn't.

There is many different rmm from different companies, some have different bushings.. I have a softer one from whoosh and I get only a slight amount of vibration at idle but it feels like it's supposed to be there. This cobb rmm might have a more ridgid bushing then some others .

I was shocked at how much vibration there is at idle, 800rpm. I'm just wondering what's coming loose given how much vibration there is. It's just fine down the road, but waiting at a stop light there's just too much plastic in car to not rattle because of it.

This makes just such a difference in your ST you will not believe it. You can pick up the Ford electric mount for $50.00 bucks. It works Great also! Kind of stupid that Ford's stock mount is so bad that there is a noticeable difference in installing an aftermarket one. Of all the parts that should give a noticeable feeling when upgraded, a motor mount shouldn't be one of them.
@Zerogivengarage
@Zerogivengarage 7 лет назад
Ford even upgraded the original mounts to the E Focus which is better but there is still room for improvement.

It makes sense they didn't use a super stiff mount but on the St it shouldn't be so soft that a part like this has become so popular.
