fun fact about this show. its chinese and they made like a short of this originally and it blew up internationally to the point the chinese government funded the show to be made fully because the Chinese government thought it would make china look good because people liked it so much

In fact it has not been an international hit, but rather an underrated one. It was a huge domestic hit in China, the first three episodes of FHOFE on the bilibili platform had hundreds of millions of views, and bilibili funded the studio. China is not a small country, the Chinese government doesn't have time to pay attention to little things like an animation becomes popular.

YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LETS FUCKING GOOOOOOOO God, I need everyone and their mother to see and respect this chinese anime, especially for its animation. The choreography and visual spectacle are peak in its most literal definition imo and the fact that half of it does it in my favorite way of all, no talk except what's needed and then straight to scrapping. No further interruptions, shouting attack names with 2 episodes of charge time, or explaining exactly why this power up I just got means you won't beat me, just incredible ass beating.

Kengan Ashura has some pretty good hands, but nothing like this. Holy crap. (To be fair, Kengan Ashura uses CGI for its animation most of the time, and while it's not anything amazing, it IS the best CGI out of any anime.)

they never know what they're talking about. People like to call anything ass because they have 0 taste and don't know how to open their mind to new things. I've seen almost 400 animes in my entire lifetime and not a single one had a watercolor art style with animation like this. I didn't even know this was possible and it looks amazing throughout every episode. In terms of hands, i haven't seen a single anime reach this level of choreography and I can say that with 100% confidence. I've seen some AMAZING top tier animes that got insane battles but this is just TOO good.

He's one of the few black characters in the anime soul eater and his powers are legit good and treated with respect. He fights with a spear and I think his name is spelled as kilik.
