Hello, Yes, it is a good idea to disconnect the battery terminal. You may always contact the manufacturer for specific installation instructions. Thanks, Rvinyl.com
The instructions are written and the video is shot for factory wiring, although you should be able to install it with your HID relay. You may need to have a professional installation to insure that you do not damage your aftermarket lights.
Ummmm the interior shots were of a 96-00 civic. Not an EG. and EKs dont need to be spliced anywhere. They have a spot on the fuse box for the brown connector to attach like factory
You maybe able to run it on the parking lights, the fuse however may not be rated for it. We recommend following the manufacturer's installation instructions.
Can I ask u a question, I have a 94 honda prelude and the fog lights + harness and switch are impossible to find! Would I be able to purchase these cheap civic or integra fog light kits and hook them are on my prelude or are the wires that plug in car specific?
Hi I did this on my 2000 civic & now the battery light won't go off. Both the battery & alternator have been replaced. Any idea why its on & how to get it to turn off? I'd appreciate any suggestions. Thanks
Do you have to disconnect the negative terminal first because I tried to put a socket to the positive and sparks were flying it didn't short my car thank god
Hello, the wiring is similar however the removal of the bumper will vary slightly. The mounting of the fog light will vary slightly as well depending on whether you are replacing your fog lights or installing them in the factory openings. Please call us at 800.503.7916 with any other questions.
Last half of the video honestly sucks. That's not even an EG interior man the front bumper and everything' was on point but wtf happened to the essentials
