Hi Bill! FMB was the first song I wanted to learn since I started playing the banjo about 5 months ago. I recently upgraded to a deering goodtime 2 which is an incredible instrument and now I mastered the song thanks to your amazing work. The combination of tabs and learning lick by lick and then listening to the play along on your website really did it for me. Thank you so much for the effort. I'm not happy with my recording king. I know it's their rko3s and there's better available. But, it does carry the label and I saved for it. I replaced my new recording king with another low cost banjo Morgan Monroe. Much better experience. It was my disappointment after anticipation that lost my interest. Still, it would make a good toy for a present.

Is anyone else having trouble with the sound?

Wish I was closer to take lessons. Trying to teach myself..... Feel like I am getting nowhere

Here is my two cents worth. And this goes for everyone showing how to play something. The view being watched should be how the instructor is looking down on the neck and picking. Over the right shoulder. But NOBODY does this! This unhides the fingertip placement on the strings. And zoom in on the fingers. If it isn't to hard to do split the screen, one the left is the neck, right is the picking. This would revolutionize teaching. Thank You.
