Foghorn Stringband performs at the Berkeley Old Time Music Convention (BOTMC), September, 2013 at the Freight and Salvage. Two tunes - Rose in the Mountain, followed by Tennessee Girls with Dirk Powell on banjo. Also playing are Caleb Klauder (mandolin), Sammy Lind (fiddle), Reeb Willms (guitar) and Nadine Landry (bass).

It is a great group of performers. Would love to see Caleb put his talents to work on a banjo mandolin sometime. Has a unique skill which could add a bit to some of the songs. 5 string is good also, but different instrument in many ways.

Of course you should note that Dirk Powell is one of the very best banjo pickers. Good to aim high.
