You make look easy. I just bought the 7.7 121 liters. I weigh 175 pounds I started sup foiling almost a year ago and now getting long foil rides . I bought this board for just sup surfing seeing how early and easy you guys catch waves . I have paddled race sups for years 25 wide no problem but. I tried to just paddle the Armstrong today for the first time and was shocked how tippy and unstable it was and did not seem to track straight And fell a lot I was pretty disappointed and bummed and had thoughts about selling it but I will keep trying . Sorry for the long mail if you have any thoughts of encouragement I need it . Thanks .
Don't sell it! Unless you want to sell it to me haha. Jokes. Keep trying and practicing you will get it especially with your sup background. You are just not used to the instability of narrow boards . Put a big foil with a longer mast (80+cm) and that will give you stability too. Also push it all the way back for more stability. Try it in calm waters initially then work your way up to taking into the sea. Keep at it!!

Но чем больше смотрю видео, тем больше слышу отзывов о том, что очень сложно держать равновесие на этих узких досках. Я хотел пробрести Такума, 110л. у неё ширина всего 19,5 дюйма или 50см. Длина 7,10 футов Что будет если попробовать доску более широкую 60-65 см. есть такие производители ? Не знаете.? Мой сапборд 80 см. Ширина 😀 Боюсь 50см. Будет слишком сложно для меня тоже. Но всё равно готов даже на это. Даунвинд очень привлекателен для меня. Но наверное у более широкой доски ухудшаются скоростные качества ? Желаю вам удачи в обучении!
@wingfoil34 you definitely can do it on a wider board. I started doing this on a short (6'3) and wide(25") board!! But now everyone has realized long and narrow with yacht shaped hulls i s so much easier to get up . Yes it may be a little bit more unstable off foil paddling around but not much. Definitely start wider then go narrower if you can !
