My 1st ever RU-vid video......would appreciate some feedback.
Testing my new no-name folding stainless steel fire pit from eBay. It was a lot cheaper than branded ones available and from what I can tell they are identical.
I cook and basic dry rubbed chicken that ended up cooking a little fast. I should have left the coals burn down some more. To help it cook evenly I placed my Weber kettle lid on top. The lid sits perfectly. I'll definitely be trying the Weber rotisserie. Stay tuned for that one soon. The chicken was delicious with a beautiful charcoal flavor.
The fire pit is easy to put together. It comes with a handy carry bag. Its built to last...this thing is a tank. It put out a huge amount of heat but still burns efficiently. The pit can stand free in its own without the use of the base plate. The base plate simply give the ground some protection. All in all I'm very happy with the new purchase.
