Garnet is just so wonderful. Summer's End is breathtaking. This album delivered me a one two punch on first listen. Summer's End (2) is a song that transforms me back to child and forward to times unknown and I am so grateful to have heard it right here and now.
When you find a Garnet Rogers performance that you’ve never heard before, for some reason it always feels like you just got really lucky, like you found it “just in time”, because, well, who knows what would have happened? But you know, for sure, that whatever it was that was happening before, it all feels a lot better now. Thank you, Garnet. Great performance. PS if anyone who knows him personally reads this, can you make sure he knows that those 2 guys in Edmonton that always want to play Sleeping Buffalo with him are no longer willing to accept his excuse that it’s a “guitar breaker”, okay? 😅 Trust me, Garnet, we will bring you guitars to break. You sounded great as always, Garnet; perfect harmonies. From the unusually warm late January and early February west coast of BC, thanks man! Props for all of the unforgettable songs you and Stan gave to all your fans, whether they appreciatesd you music or not. Every time I hear you play and/or sin, it turns into a nice little 3-10-minute vacation from something I wasn't enjoying. For those gems I can't thank you enough.
