Mitch Smith, MD, PhD, Follicular Lymphoma Foundation, London, UK, discusses how treatment approaches in follicular lymphoma (FL) have advanced in recent years with the introduction of immunotherapies, including CAR-T cells and bispecific antibodies. Dr Smith also comments on the importance of identifying biomarkers to predict patient response to therapy, and highlights other exciting areas of research. This interview took place at the 17th International Conference on Malignant Lymphoma (ICML), held in Lugano, Switzerland.
