I actually start my shift manager training in the morning at Arby’s lol. I have experience with Burger King. This is my first time ever working for Arby’s lol

I worked for Arby’s for 2 years quit middle of 2018 I told myself I will never work for fast food again haven’t went back again the pay was ridiculously low 7.25 I was a cashier and Makeline the roast beef is disgusting you have to go to the oven pull the plugs out the meat in a water bag and carry it to the slicer🤮 you have to learn to make all of those sandwiches on the board behind the Makeline quick you can’t keep turning around looking at it I don’t recommend this job it’s terrible

I was 16 when I worked at Arby's and it was so much fun!! Hard work but a lot of fun and good memories. I'm 50 now and have an interview at Arby's Monday. Not sure if it will be as fun as I remember it being because times have changed but hopefully I will get the job and get to work with good people like me.

omg! Arby's was my first fast food job and tbh I was terrified but, it's not as hard as it seems, some advice is always be open-minded and ask a lot of questions if you have some, because its better to ask and make sure then to do something wrong just bc you didn't wanna ask and don't worry if you mess up! It'll happen, trust me, it still happens to me! good luck and let me know if it works out for ya (:

Girl ours looks like it's from the 1980s and we have the registers from the 1980s and no drive thru cause it was built in the 1980s lol. 2005 would be a HUGE upgrade for our store but I love working there

aw, im glad its been going good! & its okay to be nervous, i personally was terrified having to talk to people but it'll all get better, I promise! & omg yes! I hated having to memorize the register, I honestly thought It was never gonna stick but, it did. But some things that I did which im pretty sure they have this on all the arbys but there should be a training mode that you can set the register to that you can mess around with the buttons without it ringing up on the back screen. & also, took a picture of the register hahaaaa to help me memorize but repetition is key! Don't stress! you got this!

I forgot I wrote this lol. I still work there and still pretty much like it. I found out our franchise is the 36th franchise to ever exist and was built in 1965 or 1966 and it looks it too lol. We are so old we predate the concept of a drive thru and still don't have one 😂

@@gladyscontreras so far it’s been very easy co workers are nice and everything it only gets busy during rush hours but other than that it’s a good job

@@ReImagined4949 for back line just be focused and get the food out as quick as you can but don’t go so fast that you mess up making the orders it depends on your location tho I live in a small town so it’s never busy but if you live in a populated area it might get busy but back line is simple the only hard part is remembering how to make the sandwiches but you’ll get used to it

@@ReImagined4949 but a big tip is to always stay stocked up on everything cause you think you’ll have enough of something but one rush hour comes by and it’s all gone so just be prepared for random rush times cause it happens

I was terrified about that as well, but once they get to know you and see how you work with others it'll be fine. ask questions!! that's one thing that can break the tension or nerves, I tell this to all of the new people and it has worked for them. Best advice dont go to work to make friends you go to make money and maybe a FRIEND or too dont worry if THEY dont like you do they pay your bills ?

J $7.45 it ain’t that good but my food 50% off and their no drug testing unless you do some dumb shit and they suspect. The customers can be dicks but most of the boomers are nice.

i just started friday and it’s honestly a lot😭but you’ll catch on quick. working the fryer is literally the easiest thing along with prepping food. i haven’t done drive-thru yet, but making and memorizing the sandwiches is the hard part😭. i would recommend looking up their sandwich menu to help you remember what goes on each sandwich until you get the hang of it, but they do have posters of what goes on each sandwich.

tbh not really, just the basic questions like why do I want to work there and they asked me more about my availability than anything else. trust me I was crash coursing interview questions the night before aha! It wasn't bad at all

yeah I got it! but because of corona the inside not opened up & until then there not hiring anymore people .. but they taking too long for the inside to openly so honestly I may go to somewhere else hiring faster .
