Love your videos Mark. So well put together. Appreciate all the work you put into content from day one. The significance of bitcoin and what it represents and the doors of opportunity it’s coming has opened is biblical. I see a future built on trust, and truth. If it’s not verifiable it didn’t exist is what they’ll say., and open public networks will emerge on top. Because trust is lost…
A few points on what Mark has pointed out: 1. The energy transition towards "low carbon" is way easier to control through AI. If you can an entire grid controlled through AI, harder to do through gas/oil. 2. Datacenters growing is a huge expense, many of these tech companies will shift from OpEx to CapEx, which means reduced returns, but will be like ATT for example...they can go bankrupt, but they're required for society to function. 3. In my opinion, Blockchain has the ability to replace big tech because there's no reliance on company owned datacenters (very costly), but rather communities funding it themselves. It's literally the only way for a new company to compete with MSFT, AMZN, NVDA, META, etc.
@@tomrider4774 Right now...but computers were also "not efficient" and "more costly" 20 years ago. Remember when 1 computer took up an entire room to solve somewhat simple computations. It WILL be cheaper with increased adoption. There's already companies that let you rent GPU/CPU/storage and integrate with blockchains and chains themselves are becoming more efficient.
SMH.. I don't know how he does it. But, he is the REAL DEAL! I do NOT hear anybody else on the Internet or on TV/Cable sharing THIS specific kind of information. I am SOLD on his ideas and approaches on researching to make solid investment bets.
Mark, I love your channel and I think you have good insights on the copper mining stock CLLXF. I feel like I can rib you some on the TSLV and LOMEF trades a while back, which I will charitably say didn't work out. I hope the CLLXF trade works out. I actually bought some based on your rationale. Obviously metals are a hot space right now.
Interesting but mining companies often seem to have long term stagnation- they seem to run in cycles so need to sell when the price is up and buy when the price is down. Lion town resources a lithium producer in Australia is a recent example of this.
Your discussions omitted oil production. In 2019 US OIL production was up to 19 million barrels a day (until fact edited by Google) which was 22% of the WORLDS oil production. Day one Biden signs executive orders which end reducing US daily out put to 11 million barrels a day this is now 15% or worlds oil production. Even with excessive money printing up to 80 % of money ever printed just the 7% world output reduction in oil by the US would cause inflation. Oil prices affect EVERYTHING! So since Joe Bama didn’t raise oil production back up they allowed inflation to be unchecked. Trillions of barrels lay in wait in the Alaskan Anwar basin I’m voting for the MAN who will return US OIL output to record levels to lower inflation and actually make an impact on our debt. Trillions of Barrels. Money printing is not the only mover in this scenario OIL IS HUGE!
I believe copper can hit some pretty high prices... but what Mark more importantly outlined is that economic growth is totally coupled to copper supply. Based on the constraints laid out, Im bearish tech more than bullish copper.
Great Update...There is a shortage of Artificial Intelligence Data Centers...The Demand is Greater than the Supply...Applied Digital Stock Symbol APLD is a Company building Artificial Intelligence Data Centers running on Nvidia GPU Chips with access to 1.2 Gigawatts in the future..Risky Investment with A potential for High Return Less Risky than Crypto Currencies
Nobody talks about how much water you need to build batteries. =5 peoples consumption of water for a full year. Can we afford that with higher temperatures and draughts????
Who told you, Canada was a friendly jurisdiction for mining? We value our nature, and we have held protests to protect it in the past… this is not new information, but you seem to have forgotten… Or are not paying attention to indigenous rights?🇨🇦 please don’t mistake our kindness for weakness.🇨🇦
This guy is totally wrong. We've been living on borrowed time for the past 200 years or so, in the mistaken belief that "tech" will solve all our problems and provide solutions, so that we can continue unlimited growth. There's no such thing as unlimited growth, and the expansion we have experienced in the past 100 years has been orders of magnitude larger than anything in the previous 1,000,000 years, and it cannot be sustained.
Hate him or whatever... Elon Musk is saying this over and over again. “Now we have a chip shortage, 2025 looks good for supply to start meeting demand. The next bottleneck will be ENERGY!”
Just do your own research.. Just by looking at the main thing that EV "should fix". Is lower the CO2. But it is failing that primary goal and a ICE is polluting less CO2 than a EV! So there is no reason for EV to exist when they are worse. Do your own research: USA polute with 368 gram of Co2 for GENERATING and producing one kwh of electricity. (Global data is worse and CO2 don't care about borders) 🤣 A ICE polluting with 75 gCO2 for each driven km. In avrage a EV consuming 195 Wh/km. From the common data base of EVs. (as we know the manufacturers always states impossible performance measurement that is not obtainable in real life..) 😉 So a EV uses 0.195 kwh/km. That is 368 * 0.195 = 71.76 gCO2/km and that is with manufacturers claimed low consumption that we never can come down to.😛 So there is more or less NO difference in number of grams polluted co2 per km between a ICE and a EV in USA. When other countries polute more or less co2 than USA per produced kwh. Why I say USA is that in for example Norway they have less CO2 pollution per each kWh that they produce.. But again if we look at the global numbers that is double (!) of that USA has when we include Asia and China. Then ICE is polluting halves as much than a EV! And that makes sense to do also when now China is ALSO with BYD in the front line, the WORLD largest car manufacturer.. It is just uneducated politicians that think that power from a wall has no CO2 emissions and when there is no exhaust pipe on the car then it must be 0g CO2..😭🤯 The EV car sales is plummeting with more than 40% this year. People is saying NO to EV and I hope they will be a thing in the past.. And it were again a stupid political decision that disrupted the car industry and resulted in more layoffs and unemployment than we had before they intervene. 😭
What amazes me is the massive amounts of carbon required in order to do these so called renewables & the cost, plus the short life span of battery banks ,wind turbines. EV's just aren't selling & as for heat pumps they corrode in less than a year .But I don't mind making a bit extra out of this nonsense !
