most important AND hardest thing to get used to. Very few people have a good follow through in my pub league and it's so key. It's not easy but if you put in the work, it does get better/easier. MAKE IT COUNT - I use that saying all the time with my team.

Thanks for the workout tip! Throw before you workout. I lift weights 6 days and I normally practice after the gym but I hate it because I’m more shaky than normal. Then my shot feels more off. I also avoid lifting weights before any tournament or league night. Will try this and see how it goes. Keep posting awesome videos!

I started to cover my board in an old t-shirt so I don't focus on the numbers anymore and I can just focus on my throw. Helps me a lot

Hey there, thanks for the tips. I'm a darter myself. how would u choose your flights and shafts and decided that works for you? in this case i noticed that you are using a slim flight and medium shaft.

I like a skinny barrel and slim flights because I don't want any deflections. The barrel size and grip is most important to me. Next is the flight size. Experiment with different sizes and shapes and watch how the dart flies.

I'm just driven to get better. I wasn't very consistent in the beginning. But I really worked on learning 'how to' throw. I studied mechanics and technique and recorded myself throwing and slowly got better.

Thanks as always Dave! I get the importance of practice with your follow through. However, silly question. Where do your eyes aim at when shooting at numbers/triples/bulls/etc.?

@@ricco21 In this example, I don't care where is hits. Initially, I'm looking at the target number then I try and relax and focus on the form with the goal of ending with the fingers down. The accuracy during my evening sessions on the soft tip board really start to show when I do this in the morning on the steel tip board.
