22 inch Blackstone adventure ready review
Today I wanted to go over a follow up review of the Blackstone 22” Adventure Ready griddle. We’ve had it for 2 years and overall it’s been fantastic. One regret though. We wish we got the 36” bigger model! Don’t get me wrong the 22” cooks fantastic, looks great, doesn’t take up much space. But if space isn’t an issue then I’d recommend moving up to a 28” or 36” model. Happy Griddling!!

Congrats on the new daughter! We have a Steele flattop on our kitchen range and use it all the time. But picked up the 22 with folding legs for camping and trips.

One thing I recommend is wind guards, they help even on non windy days to capture more of that heat. Even with the wind guards, the 36 inch also has cold zones even with all 4 burners on high. Just more of a waste of propane. I just bought a 17 and 22 inch for traveling and for when I am only cooking for myself to preserve some propane. Was worried the 17 with one burner wouldn't give my Ribeye's enough temp and sear when not cooking on the 36 so I got the 22 for the 2 burners. Thanks for the video

I have the 17" and 22". My 17 inch, I've actually used to feed 5 with ease, but i decided to get the next up because it has 2 burners for different temperature if i wanted to cook to different dishes at the same time.

I have the same model and have 2 kids and i agree i wish i had sprung for the 28 inch. Now i have a weber and a Traeger so i didnt think i needed it but this one while great is a little small.

We're a retired couple, and I bought the 36" 4 years ago for when the kids and grandkids come over, or to have 6-12 friends over. Great times. Kids love the smashburgers, adults say they prefer them to steak, and Mongolian grill makes a great party for the adults. Make up the components in separate bowls, let them build there own creation then bring it to me to cook. The 36er will let me do 4-5 at a time (cooked food into clean bowls only!!!). Then for camping, I got the Adventure-Ready 22" w/folding legs. I rigged a slide out tray in the pickup, and it's great for camp cooking, but at age 70 something I've decided it's too much heavy lifting for the two of us, and reserve it for camping with 12 of us. If I could only do one Blackstone at home...36" for sure. Very versatile and have had 20 for breakfast on the patio (using the 22" for extra surface area). Great fun. I'd say go for the biggest you can afford and envision using. They're more fun than a BBQ and guests show real delight in the cooking process. Thanks for your vids Ron!

I absolutely agree. I’ve actually bought a 36” for home use as I find myself needing the extra surface area. Glad you liked the video!

I got this 22" with the foldable table and 20-lb hose/regulator for $185 from Walmart. Its the perfect dize for capacity and portability. (i got a carry bag for the griddle/hood without table, also makes a nice cover. Amazing griddle.

I got the same thing but for 100.00 because of damaged box, everything inside was in perfect shape. I am loving it.

You Can't take the bigger griddles to the park, beach or tailgating. I personally like a smaller footprint that doesn't just sit outside collecting dirt/dust. Just my opinion.

DO NOT BUY THE 1891 MODEL! The Adventure Ready Griddle. The burners are not removable unless you drill out the rivets. I have had mine less than 2 weeks, spiders have gotten up in the tubes and I can't take clean them out without drilling out the rivets.
