Caught me off guard that you found somebody who can actually hold a conversation. He knows that it's shit, he knows O'Keefe, but he also knows lawyers. If people keep pushing, reasonable people will become the norm again.

I am Mennonite and we have our own schools. The Amish were the first to attempt to have their own schools. One governor I don’t remember what state even threatened to call out the National Guard to force the Amish children to public school. I have a book with a picture with two or three Amish men walking up the steps of the Supreme Court. Amish children. Parents were being fined five dollars a day per child. Fortunately the Supreme Court ruled against that and sided with the Amish. Thank God they did, and that now the Mennonites and Amish have our own schools and don’t have to deal with the Devil’s public schools!!

These people have taken some thing that was meant to protect children from an abusive environment at home and they’ve turned it around for their advantage so they now can become the abusers.

i have a friend that does security in a middle school and he sends me undercover audio of how teachers are punishing other kids for not "respecting pronouns". also note that in california if a kid identifies as trans and the parents dont allow it, its grounds for "abuse" and your child can be taken away from you.

👉...It's very concerning to think that School Personnel would keep pertinent information away from the Parents, specifically with "possible mental illness" issues with their associated child/children. This should not be allowed to happen in any school!! Parents should always be made aware of any issues/concerns of their child/children. These schools and their personnel are overstepping their boundaries!! They are to educate, not instigate secrecy between parents and their kid(s). 👈🙄 ...

I sued my kid school district because they weren’t following IEP requirements and every time we had a meeting they told me I wasn’t allowed to record. Two things when dealing with schools always keep shit in written it does wonders and always record

That lady was way too enthusiastic when telling kids that she’ll keep secrets from their parents. She liked saying it a lot more than is appropriate for a supposed professional. These G’s are so emboldened, she’s not even trying to put on a front, she’s literally salivating to impart her corrupting influence on other people’s children, just right out in the open. The fact she postures as if she has the moral high ground over the parents when she can’t even manage herself well enough to contain her highly alarming excitement is infuriating.

If any entity is taking the ability of a parent to dictate the health and/or wellbeing of their own child - the parent has the responsibility to remove that entity from posing a threat to their family. We have the RIGHT to protect and defend our children... no matter what any agency's policy is.

It's vague for a reason. Plausible deniability providing no means of redress by parents.

You should definitely call the lawmakers up and make them answer what the intention of the law is! When they are implementing something that goes against the intentions of the law as it was written then there is the breakdown. At that point i think a lawsuit is in order to make them cooperate with the law as it was written and intended.

Policy is NOT law. So if that school "policy" is in violation of what teachers say and do with children is wrong. There is an issue here and needs to be dealt with.

We are in the process of removing our student from the public school system.

That superintendent is giving you the runaround. Unfortunately I live in CT and it would be the same here. I am always scanning my kids classrooms for Pride stuff and listening for buzzwords. Plus their reaction to my MAGA hat is always good for sniffing out crazies.

I grew up on Bergen county and NYC. I’m glad I raise my children in Florida where I don’t have to worry about this nonsense. DeSantis has protected my children from this and let’s parents make their own choices on Covid restrictions

Listening to this, I kept thinking this is where we need a lawyer. I knew FERPA was going to come into the mix, but I'm not an educator or a lawyer so I don't know relevant law or case precedent at the federal level, let alone the state level. In fact, I'd guess that this administrator doesn't know it perfectly either. They probably get guidance from the superintendent of schools and other higher-ups who deal more directly with this sort of legal stuff and less with the day-to-day operations of a school. I appreciate this gentleman being as honest and transparent as he can while clearly having the intelligence not to make a statement he can't back up to a member of the press. It's time to get local parents involved in clarifying these issues. This is why what O'Keefe does is so important. It shines a light on things like this that normally would be quietly discussed perhaps at a school board meeting where the parents can effectively be bullied as we've seen many times.

How the hell can their be a confidentiality agreement between a minor, their teacher and the school that blocks the parent of the child, THEIR LEGAL GUARDIAN ? Guess they need to re-educate them young to produce the future mentally impaired of the future…

That is exactly why the goverment should NEVER be involved in kids education, how did we ever get here in the first place? This is why people need to get involved locally and in the states to start taking power back from the government

Why are Parents - who ARE LEGALLY RESPONSIBLE for their MINOR CHILDREN - EXCLUDED from ACCESSING records or being INFORMED of consultations with the MINOR STUDENT. To whom are Administrator or Instructor employees answerable? And to whom are THEY answerable (which IS the meaning of "responsible").

Have read, NON Adult, Juvenile, may NOT make, be part of Contract. So without Parent, authorized caretaker ... there is NO way i see any School, or other, able to keep Medical Issues Hidden from Mother or Father, Family in their care.

I work in an Iowa school district and my district, administrators, some teachers and guidance counselors are pissed that our governor signed a law that prevents them from keeping this kind of information from parents.
