this looks like a pretty great tbr, I've only read Ninth House and I enjoyed it but I think sometimes I'd like to re-read it because I don't think I appreciated it enough. also, could you buddy read the book with your wife? or is she 'angry' because she has a vendetta against the book???? ps. I'm 27% into the ebook of Empire of the Vampire. I haven't cried yet but did get sad over the death of an animal. I have been giggling and snorting a lot more than I thought I'd be. there's just so much snark and ridiculous insults, I love it.

Just watching your videos at random. I’m curious to find out what your thoughts are on Ninth House. I’m more than halfway through and man, I’m really struggling. I don’t know if I’m in a bit of a reading slump or if I’ve just been reading books I don’t enjoy. I genuinely cannot tell. When it comes to ninth house- more than halfway through- I feel like I should care about the characters and the plot more but I feel like I’m just dragging myself through it. Nothing is standing out to me. I think I’m in a slump🥲 Also, I don’t have Instagram. Deleted it several years ago because it was greatly impacting my mental health and unfortunately, I don’t ever foresee myself downloading it again.
