As a drummer Taylor Hawkins was one of the best at his craft. Listening to his work and watching him do what he did best was amazing . The world of music will not be the same without him, his passion and sound. A legend gone too soon. I'm in utter shock. RIP Taylor Hawkins.
I think he's great & mourning the the loss. I had to break the news to my boyfriend. Niel peart was the best from RUSH. & Tommy Lee & of course, another favorite, Rick Allen from Def Leppard. The whole comradary makes the bands. The whole world is wondering how. Taylor passed. Obviously not a car accident. I just turned 50 myself this month. Somehow I KNEW something would go wrong at 50.ugh.
@@thomasjung5752 Taylor was playing with one of the biggest artists in the world at the time, supporting one of the biggest records of all time... I wouldn't call that unknown. You probably saw him on your tv screen every other day. Just sayin'
RIP Taylor Hawkins. The world lost a talented Drummer. The Foo Fighters will never be the same. Thank you for the 25 years you spent bringing us your unstoppable rock power through several avenues. Your ability to set the rhythm is one of the vital reasons the Foo Fighters rocked the masses and achieved notoriety and success for the last 25 years.
Técnicamente es mejor que Grohl de todas maneras ; Taylor es más explorador Dave es más monótono aunque igual toca bien los dos tienen su estilo me quedo con Taylor
@@juliosanchez95 Then, if I may ask, what is your reason for watching and listening to this? You are , of course, completely entitled to having your own opinions and tastes and I am not in any way trying to spark a discussion about anyone liking or disliking any music, but I am curious nonetheless
Has anyone else noticed that he hardly ever plays with the same kit configuration? Sometimes high cymbals, sometimes low cymbals, different number of concert toms and even different brand kits altogether. The guy is a true percussionist in every sense of the word.
Love TH!!! Not just because he's quite a talented drummer, obviously...but his down-to-earth nature, his reverence to drummers before him that he's admired, and his fortitude to strive to make everyone around him better and happier!!!😎🖒
Taylor Hawkins really is the right drummer for the Foo Fighters. And that's no disrespect towards Dave Grohl. They're equally great drummers, but they have different feels. Dave Grohl actually said this when Hawkins first joined, full-time. The Foo Fighters really needed a drummer who's feel was ahead of the beat. I remember when Dave recorded the drum parts for The Colour and the Shape. I kept thinking, "This is amazing, but it would be even better if the drummer would push the tempo a little more".
Hard to explain a loss yo rock n roll like this. How to explain to your son why you are crying over someone you never met but has touched your life and enhanced your love of rock and roll. RIP dude
I personally find it "weird" to see FF play 70s funk fusion & a motley crue style rising drum set, since I was fan of Nirvana & FF from the beginning, but I guess 30 years is a long time & artists * people do evolve. It'd prob be weirder to see Grohl stay the same,
As much as I love this band and their music I don't think I could enjoy one of their concerts. My wife went to one years ago for a company function and she said it was like 3 hours, and these things were in between almost every song. Almost like Dave Grohl just never wants to get off the stage lol. I don't knock anyone of course, just for me, I like when you get on with the set.
@@wakeup2therain no doubt. I just know how I get at concerts. The interludes to get the crowd involved are fun, but after a while its like alright man just play the song. Green Day does it a lot as well.
Isn’t the whole part of buying tickets to watch them put on a show that’s what there doing other people make there concert 1.5-2.0 hours and show up late
Nunca te conocí en persona Nunca tomamos una cerveza juntos Nunca nos cagamos de la risa por algo Nunca tocamos juntos Y aún así siento que perdí a un gran amigo.
