A while ago I was looking for a gift for a friend who owns a restaurant and came across Tatiana Shkondina, a Russian food stylist and photographer. One of her projects was to recreate famous paintings using food as the medium. While maybe not high art in the realm of the artist whose work she recreates, I found them to be painstakingly executed and visually delightful and charming.

Love the combo of food and art. Any chance you're going to VidCon? If so, maybe we can finally get that collaboration off the ground. I'd love to guest contribute to a 5 artists in five minutes or continue to work on our original idea. Or both.

Amor Sciendi Ahh Yes! We should do that :D That's a great idea! I wont be at VidCon but maybe we can meet up either SF or nearby? I'll be in LA around that time so maybe I'll visit?
