I take a sort of libertarian view on abortion. I don't think there should be a law against abortion; I think a doctor should loose his permission to practice when he violates his hippocratic oath to preserve life.
We share the same thoughts on abortion. However, we’ve got a huge problem facing us come November this current VP which is a now the Democratic presidential candidate and her liberal running mate are going to appeal to a huge majority of woman voters. Who wouldn’t vote for this pair if it wasn’t for the abortion issue. I don’t understand how any woman can be a Christian and believe that abortion is ok and not murder. This pair of liberals will get a lot of votes on this issue. Our country is being destroyed by these liberal politicians and people aren’t seeing it. And this one thing is going to be a major player and in my opinion the Supreme Court settled this issue but apparently not. I hope for the very existence of our country that people who want our country to survive as a constitutional government get out and vote!
Jesus was pro-choice. He was an orthodox Jew and they believed it was the womans right to choose till the birth. He NEVER said a single word to change it either. AND I will happily vote Harris / Waltz before older than dirt Captain Chaos ANY DAY OF THE WEEK !
Wes- Like you I have thought about this issue. I do not think there is anyone out there that is 100% pro choice or prolife. I do not think the government should be involved at all.

I have always thought that the question of when life begins to be almost as stupid as calling pro-abortion pro-choice. Life began with Adam and continues thru procreation. Also all choices are eliminated when one chooses the death of another. Having said that the world is full of women who were misguided or manipulated into making that fatal decision in their past and the only sane avenue forward is founded in complete denial of any previous wrongdoing and will defend to the end for others to also have the right to make the same fatal decision. It’s a sad world we live in that has been influenced by true evil. Why else would they be pushing for abortion up to birth, also very similar I’ve been told to a satanic sacrifice. Although the argument is often maid that we are just intelligent animals, I choose to believe that human life is much much more. That's the Dave Chappelle joke. If a woman can mureder a baby the man should at least be able to abandon it and not pay child support. Everyone knows that a baby is a baby even before birth. The one's that say otherwise are lying and are selfish or evil enough to want that as an option
Australia is a country that maybe has maintained some sort of balance for many decades. New Zealand had a restrictive law change implemented in the late 1970s and NZ women had to go Australia for 'treatment' for a few years, before the law was amended. It was SOS (Sisters Overseas Service) raising money for poor women (in a time of high air ticket prices) to go to Australia versus 'SPUC' Society for the Protection of the Unborn Child. Recently in New Zealand, there has been another Inquiry for the 'Abuse in children's State residential care', that is children in the past and recent past who ended up in State 'care' by being neglected, abandoned, orphaned, birth parents - addiction & mental health problems etc. Pretty sorry stories to read of children going from one bad situation to another where they were supposed to be looked after better.
I agree 100% I lost the chance to have a child by a woman who placed her career over marriage and family. Sadly my sir name stops with me but most sadly no grandbabies.
It takes two as far as I recall….. if they did not want a child there are all kinds of options to not having kids and still satisfy those needs. 100% agree life is life, people that are vegetarians are killing plants. Don’t plants have a right to live? People only see what the want to see and/or just go along with their crowd just because…. Not me.
I have a truly bad gene pool: cancers abound.Other assorted degenerative diseases. My sister (who died early of cancer) took actions to be sure she had no children and adopted 3 orphans. I also took action to be 100% sure I could not sire children and at 63 have zero children.State and local government was never involved and no unborn children were ever unalived. It's the modern times that allows people to make a choice with 100% reliability: abortion should not even be thought of unless people are idiots.
@@rmanr7131 that’s a problem for me. I think if a man wants the child and she doesn’t he should get that child long before an abortion is allowed. It takes two and how is it ok for just the women to kill the baby.

@@skylar4335 I’m not going to argue with you. But I will say this as a man to a women you are correct I don’t really care what you do with your body at all. But what about the body that’s inside your body? It didn’t just materialize in there. It was a joint effort and that should be a decision for both parties. Now I’m not talking about rape or incest I’m talking consensual sex that created a baby. This subject is closer than you think to me. Men that want the child have no say in the abortion. and in that case the women murders that man’s child. If they both don’t want it well then they both kill the baby. To me it’s murder but to someone else it’s a health issue. Now I don’t really care if a women and a man decides to kill there offspring. But morally it’s wrong. I really think there are so many other options that don’t involve killing a baby inside the mother. I just think it should be a last resort decision instead of an oooops I can’t deal with this right now so I’ll kill my baby. Or you just go kill the baby and don’t tell the father that you did it until after it’s done. That’s disgusting and so many women do that. It’s mental of you ask me.
Let me offer a different perspective: A man goes to his doctor complaining of being very ill. The doctor discovered that he had a very rare species of tapeworm in his gut that was growing and could possibly kill him. Unfortunately, the government had passed a law saying that it was illegal to abort this tapeworm to ensure the survival of one of God's rare creatures. What does this man do? 1: He aborts the tapeworm illegally saying "my body, my choice?" 2: He meekly accepts his fate, suffering debilitating pains, bleeding, diarrhoea, vomiting, and possibly death? 3: He campaigns to change the law? 4: He commits suicide because he can't stand the agony?

There were reports last year of obstetricians leaving their practices in Texas, Oklahoma and Tennessee because they did not want the risk of the penalties that these states can impose.
