Food, Glorious Food on The Viking Sea 

Just got off a plane and watched “Julia” - One of her comments, “If people don’t like food, she doesn’t want to be friends with them” - or something like that. Another is People who love to eat are always the best people." And let us say, “Amen” 😂

Viking food just keeps getting better and better. A caveat though: What I think is super fab, others may not. After all, we all have opinions. Thanks for your time Nick to view and comment.

On a ship recently, Viking to be exact, with veg Son, and I’m digging into calf’s liver, foie gras and he’s going, “eww” 😂 Told him, don’t look or move to another table. 😂 And yes I am adventurous, life is too short to waste a minute. 🌈✈

@@SheilaSimkin haha. I did try ris de veau when I studied in France in 1971 but didn't like it. I love foie gras but do not care for brains and other organ meats. If God didn't want us to eat everything, he wouldn't have created it! I love sushi and have eaten kangaroo in .Australia, moose and elk in the US, snake…didn't care for it. I do love venison and rabbit. Yum!

That is exactly why convinced me to take the nondescript (to me, compared to the sights we were supposed to see on cancelled Hurtigruten cruise). Great, great food! Thanks for yumming the video with me. ❤️

Have you booked yet? We'll be going on our second cruise with Viking starting 10/31! . We are really looking forward to the ocean cruise as we have only done a river cruise in the past...FYI...the food was amazing on that ...it really helped that we went during Covid and there were only 29 guests on board!

Sorry, John, but you are correct, the food is usually what I like and am eating. That is, unless you watch some of my old Cambodia vids with tarantulas, snakes and other very unusual foods. (Yes, I did try a tarantula). NOW, if I was actually paid to do travel documentaries, had a crew and a script, that would be totally different 😂 However, I appreciate your time to view and comment and hope you and yours are well. I am primarily a meat eater on Viking but fish eater on Hurtigruten. Hurtigruten, being Norwegian, always has the best Norwegian Salmon. So yum. And thanks so much for your time to view and comment. Regards, Sheila 😍
