I’ve been watching your videos for a couple weeks now and I gotta say..I love your intro. It’s simple. It’s short and sweet. The whistle, the logo. You let us know who you are and it’s RIGHT into the video. I enjoy watching you.
Since I now live in Tennessee when I go to Cedar point it's a 2-3 day park trip. So staying at the cabins and using the grill at the cabin has been my go to for eating lunch & Supper. As always love your vlogs.
i go with the all drink plan with the paper cup. the reason is being diabetic i usually drink water, however on a hot day not interested in the small cup they give you. So i go with the larger cup and do not want to lug around a platic cup and then try to store it when you go on rides. Go with the paper option.
Thanks for showing me where the popcorn buckets u can get refilled are. I looked last year and never could find them. Did not know refills were that cheap though.
Inflation kills the wallet, drives prices up, they lessen the portions, etc. Had a solid club sandwich from the new restaurant by Wild Mouse today. I was mildly surprised.
You and your fancy beers! I'll take a light beer over a craft anyday 😂. I know all the beer snobs are going to make fun of me.....but that's what I like.
Great video, I don’t know if the food prices at Cedar Point have gone up or if they are right about the same as they were last year but one thing was very clear to me is I saw a lot of $15.99’s and saw a couple of $19.99’s in there as well great video once again keep up the good work!!!
I did not know that Panda Express was on the meal plan. I wish Cedar Point would make a list for the entire park of where the “all season food pass” is accepted. I definitely learned about a couple of places that I did not know were in the park. Keep up the great work. I look forward to watching your videos.
$15 for 1 slice of pizza is insane! We were at Cedar Point yesterday and as amazing as this park is, we left very disappointed. They were going to charge us $70 for 2 slices of pizza and 2 breadsticks at Hugos!!! How are they getting away with that? People are getting ripped off, no wonder we saw everyone barely eating, they just sit at all the tables to rest!
As someone who primarily drinks water, I think the drink pass is totally worth it, cause you’re always guaranteed the slightly bigger cup, which is really appreciated on the hot days. The smaller courtesy cup just doesn’t cut it.
@@notyournormalg1 understandable. Some days are so hot, I’ll just buy two bottled waters at a time and just down them. I’m currently here for the 8th time, this season.
I am so glad that I took your recommendation to see Lusty Lil last season! Is Come See About Me the only true show (as opposed to a band) being offered in a sit-down venue for the summer season?
Great video as usual - thank you! The food lines are way too long these days. I wish they had a fast pass for dining - just kidding of course - they need some more food places. The food is definitely expensive, but if you go often and have the season food pass, it is very reasonable.
Last year we loved Hugo’s because their brick oven pizzas were delicious & portions were great. However we went there on opening day & they have completely changed their pizza. It is more deep dish style now. It was very chewy & bland. Big bummer.
I went to Cp in 2021 during halloweekends. I tried the BBQ place wasn’t bad per say but I wasn’t impressed with the portion size. I had Hugo s that was decent. Didn’t try the chicken tender place. My guess is they have more places open when they international students in soon
I haven’t done a lot of those little cheap meals at Cedar Point, so that needs to change for this coming year. I think I’m Gonna try a few of the more carnival type meals there this year,
Some at 10, most by 11. They all have signs on the front of them that will say when they open! And yep! It was a weekend! I haven’t been there on a week day yet!
Happy Friar has the best fries in the park (in my opinion) and the mini corn dogs are great too! It’s a great value for a meal too. Thanks for sharing the menus and prices! 😊
For 10 to 10:30 the grand pavilion is really the only option. I know it opens at 10:00 and has the meal plan. I think Starbucks opens early also (I think 9:00) but that is not on the meal plan. As far as I am aware, farmhouse kitchen and grill opens at 11:00
Great Video my mans. The price rise is crazy, it's always been. I remember when I was a kiddo when Subway had the $5 Footlong Jingle and I'd joke and say that Cedar Point had the $10 Footlong. The fries are worth the price, especially with the cheese sauce. That is my go-to meal at Cedar Point. It's bliss. The only beefs I have is that the ketchup isn't Heinz, it's Red Gold (which is still solid, but more sweet than zesty) and that the ketchup station on the side is also home to the bees. I like bees, but I swear, one of them bees followed me from the fries place the won near the midway, all the way to Iron Dragon area. I was walking fast, it would just bee on my hair region (pun intended) but it didn't attack,it was adorably annoying. NEW VIDEO IDEA - Lots of people picnic in the parking lot for lunch. People have coolers, beers are drunk, chips are eaten - It would be dope to see local gas station reviews and the unique stuff they carry. My #1 Sandusky pick-up are the Yuengling Tall Boys - I've seen a 3-pack of 25-ounce ones for $6 or 7 cold as Hell. This is Obama's favorite beer on the planet - not sold in MI. It's amazing. I am also a sucker for local beef sticks and cheese packs. What is your go-to road trip snack?
Maybe I'm misunderstanding the meal plan? You dont pay at the register unless you go outside of what is covered under the meal plan correct? If i understand from your previous videos you get about half the size of the normal portions? Thanks 😀
On the meal plan, you get the normal portions of the meal. So what you see me eating is the normal amount you will receive when you pay full price. The meal plan costs something like 120 dollars (for only one park) or 160 Dollars to visit and eat any cedar fair park. You can eat two meals a day for any day that you enter whatever park you are eating at, but those meals have to be 4 hours apart from each other. Once you have paid the initial cost, you don’t have to pay for meals again, but there are a few meals/places that are not available on the meal plan.
@@notyournormalg1 This is helpful, thank you. I'm not a season pass holder and this is just a get away for the weekend. I seen that when booking online with Breakers that you can add a all day dining pass for around $40.00. I read that this is every 90 mins for an entre and a side. Meals cost about half that as is. Do you think this is beneficial for a day or the two days that ill be there? 🙂
@@jenniferlynch135 OOOHHH! Totally different situation! Yes. 40.00 and every 90 minutes you get something to eat. As long as you and your family will eat something every couple hours, it's definitely worthwhile! It's worthwhile after about three meals regardless.
@@jenniferlynch135we used to get the daily plans when we went. Definitely worth it. You get enough food to share. We have 3 and we never went hungry with it.
I didn’t really like the burger from the place that took over Chick-fil-A. Can a bun have too many seeds on it ? 😅🤷♀️ I might try it again later in the season because I don’t feel like it was seasoned well at all and I’m not sure if that’s how they make it or if it was just opening weekend funkiness. The chili from Farmhouse had way less chunks of steak in it too 🥲 It still tasted the same thankfully.
@@notyournormalg1 I wouldn’t be nervous to try it especially with having the meal plan. It was edible but not my favorite and I’m hoping it was just first weekend hiccups. I like that the toppings for the burger come in their own container so you can use what you want and not have to pick stuff off.
Thursdays are usually a bit more popular than tuesdays or wednesdays. They are often lumped in with extended weekends when people take off. So expect a bit busier on those days than tuesdays or wednesdays are.
