I used to volunteer at the local food bank . Every Tuesday evening I went home feeling GREAT. I was so happy that I could make people happy to have extra food to help them out.
You did well there, lots of lovely meals you can make for yourself and your doggie. God is awesome putting in the hearts of people to donate extra food to be handed out ❤️
Bright blessings to you sir. I’d love to see the meals you put together. Thank goodness for food banks. I’ve used them in the past, now I pay it forward. That’s what we do, take care of each other.
Every bit helps, I know it's a great place to go when in need of supplemental foods to help with the high prices. We need to be able to pay for other things just for survival like rent/utilities/car insurance, etc. and non food items. It was well worth the trip!
nice grab. Ours is much smaller ... rarely meat unless it is tuna. Always potatoes and a special treat, like peaches or apples. Only once a month here and it usually tuns out before the line does.
Thats a great bunch of food 😊 with the prices in the stores who can efford it ! I went to a food bank and they gave only very little but I am not complaining at all because every little bit counts ❤ Tfs blessings from Florida 🙌🌴🌴
Hi ! That's an interesting way that food pantry ! Makes people wait in there cars ! Here in California the food pantry s people are out of there cars and they usually go inside the building or church to get food !
where i am, you can get a hamper once a month and you get to pick and fill either 2 plastic or one reusable bag and supplement ever week like the monthly, just no hamper
New to your channel. I love that you appreciate what you get from Food Banks. Wisconsin is very generous too. Times are getting tight, hope you keep getting nice hauls!
Just came across your Channel. I was born in DUBois. My mom remarried and we moved to NY in 1973. My mom Maiden name was Graham. My maiden name was Keen. Nice to Meet You. WOW!
That is an amazing grocery haul! That is interesting about the survey and selection. I haven't been to my local pantry recently (but may soon), there are no selection choices at all. You are given what you are given. You have to walk and stand inside with a riotous crowd, I don't really like that either. It's very little, not to be ungrateful, it's about half a grocery bag and you can only go once a month. That's why I haven't been, I don't think it would be worth the hassle. Yours is better than I could do at the grocery store.

This is dixie from texas, great haul, you can make onions and potatoes, on a sheet pan Oil and pepper and salt in 400 for 30 min till potatoes are done, you have a great meal. A great pot of chili, you can make mashed potatoes, i dont see different color potatoes i need to look for them.
I'm a widow alone poor military has left me out to dry since my veteran husband died. Got some more paperwork off who knows if they send me 200 a month i still qualify for it. if they send me half his pay I have no idea what that is I might be kicked out of poverty we shall see some day. Wild game is good in chili just incase the taste isn't the best you never know what they ate.
@@PrepperDaleThat’s awful. So sorry about your dog. Damn. Well keep the videos coming. I’m glad you got a good haul. Use all them vegetables and make some vegetable soup and then have that French loaf bread with it
Holy cow that's alot, your are blessed. What year did you graduate? I was class of 84, graduated from Warwick high-school in Lititz PA. Moved up here to upstate NY in 87 after my sister was murdered in Lancaster. It's always nice to meet someone from my home state.
Looks like you got about 150 or better dollars there, I wasn't sure that they still gave out that much but it's a good haul lentils are very very nutritional for your body hope you eat them I like the brown ones better not do the others but I ate most of them. Checking it very very healthy glad you got that and you got a big nose so all you need is just a seasonings onion and garlic and you got it made you got a chicken noodle soup
If I had pulled in my old high school, the school resource officer would have been on my tail in half a second. I'm finding the frozen Smith's Ox Roast questionable. 🤣 AND...Good luck putting it away.
Smiths ox roast is made where I am from Erie PA. This is very delicious and expensive almost 30 dollars at Wegmans for the 4 pound tub. Enjoy good find
@CarlaQuattlebaum Smiths ox roast is a big thing in Erie. Tastes like roast beef in fact a meat store (gordensmeat)has a Erie box you send to out of town people one of the items is ox roast.
Prepper Dale do you have family to help you? With house chores and errands? I am new here I just came across this video. It looked like a good food haul.
giving people enough to keep them from starving is one thing, but to every week give them several hundred dollars worth for free while the rest of us are doing without things to pay for food for our families is bull crap. Now that I have seen this, I will never again donate to a food bank.
Very nice. Our local food pantry gives out about a week’s worth of food, for a single person/couple, I includes a pound of chicken , one of hamburger, cans of tuna and chicken. You can go once a month. We only have one full sized grocery store within a 20 mile radius. Many of our local seniors should use the food pantry but their stubborn pride won’t let them! I worry about them and the children. Our church has a “little food pantry”, like a Blessings Box to help folks out and it is utilized a lot! Hard to have a variety of foods stocked during the cold weather, though.
