I love the vegan food video idea. I'm vegetarian and finding interesting food is often tricky when traveling. I loved it in Stockholm when I asked our tour guide where I might find a vegetarian lunch and she said, "Come with me to my favorite restaurant." So nice when you find someone who knows what you are talking about

And talking about vegetarian, I have terrible luck getting edible airplane food on US carriers. Suggestions? Your meals always look so tasty. Of course, I fly premium economy. Can't afford business or first.

Btw. the fruits you tasted and didn´t knew: at 7:19 that is a Curuba at 7:22 Guava 7:25 Pepino on the plate at 7:31 is also a yellow dragonfruit, grenadilla and a cheremoya, if you liked some of these fruit they are all quite ordinary nowadays and you can find them quite easily in europe for sale too, only the Curuba and Pepino are not that easy to find outside of the mediterranean.

These markets are always super interesting, especially for fruit nerds like myself, intresting to see, that they seem to sell a lot more babaco(Carica pentagona) then papaya there, usually it is a rarity to even find babaco in many places even in the Andes regeion. It´s also very worth to go to smaller rural markets in the Andes, you can find a lot of intresting stuff, especially all the crazy varieties of potatoes, papa lisa/Olluco, yacon and oca.

Im glad I found this video I’m going to be going to Ecuador soon to see my family I haven’t been to Ecuador in five years and that was before I went vegan so I was looking up options for before I go and am so glad I am seeing your video and seeing that their are a few vegan options might just have to ask my uncle if he could possibly get me some before my flight there☺️

Good food, I did had a few Dishes and Impressed me a lot , BUT in the coast WAS AWESOME, eat Encebollado, Bolon, Also The Seafood was On top, included The Shrimp Ceviche THE BEST👌🙏🇪🇨👏
