Super excited to announce that I will be taking this show on the road! This has been a dream for a while now to “get mobile” and start selling to a wider audience.
Lately all I’ve been thinking about is owning my own food truck. My dad owned one when I was young and made a lot of money off of it. He was happy and it was always cool to me plus I want to be my own boss 🙌❤️
I did bbq on the DL for a long time. Almost 2 years before I jumped into the food truck game. If you time it right you won’t struggle as much as I did at first. I started in the fall when a lot of busy places schedule out the whole year so I couldn’t get on their schedules. Wing ready to go and licensed by February or March is good timing. Go for it!
Quick tip for hanging those decals: Get a spray bottle and mix some mild soapy water. Spray both the trailer and the back of the decal (after you peel the paper backing off) with the soap and water. this lets you place the decal on the trailer and be able to move it around. Once its in place, squeegee the top paper and let the water dry. Then peel the paper away and you're good to go. This is how I used to decal ice freezers and fire trucks. If you need any help, I live in Blue Springs and would be glad to lend a hand.
These are basically a giant sticker and don’t have the paper backing in them. It’s a direct stick on from ink cow prints. I’ve don’t those before and the soap and water is money. This is just a giant 4’ sticker. I watched a tutorial on their website. I’ll have to get some magnets and do it on a cooler day. Thanks!
It has been 10 months... Do you have an UPDATE VIDEO.... ? Is there anything you would have changed? Let us know How Things are going... I am seriously thinking about buying one of these. What did this cost?
Hi there! I can do one this week. Only thing I changed was I sold the deep fryer because I didn’t want the hassle and cleanup involved in it. The fire suppression system for it is like $4k! But I’ll do an interior walk around and give some tips on how I have it setup. Cost of the trailer as it came equipped and shipping was $26,500. Things are going well so far. I’m scheduled 1-3x per week and have catering mixed in there too
@@kansascitysmoked6263 I totally agree about the "Fryer". When I had my little Mama's Kitchen Cafe... I did not fry anything *deep fry... and I had NO BUGS... This is a great set up... I am so happy for you.
I’ll be listing one soon. I’ve been running it since September and o real it’s been pretty good. Had a minor leak in the roof where the seams came together but just out some light layers of flexseal on it and it’s been good to go. Gala Transports and Exports built mine. Believe it was around 25k new
