Always was a interest of mine. I like the local and community feel of this. Its not overly polished but was great work considering the bare essentials needed to do business. Its a great start and being in business for yourself, even for almost minimum wage is ALWAYS better than sucking it up to work for someone else. Its a foundation to be proud of, we are a nation of business owners. More people need to realize this and make it happen!
Great job I began work on my schooling food truck recently learn so much by watching your video thanks a lot and good luck your best looks really good much success to you
Thanks so much for watching. Glad it was a useful example as you get started on your project! All the best on your own build and please subscribe to see more updates and videos coming soon!!
Be Kind I subbed. Maybe I'll pick your brain a bit as we build if that's ok. We could link on Facebook.com/RollWithItBus. Also check out our videos maybe we can collab someday.
sorry to be so off topic but does anybody know of a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I was dumb forgot the password. I appreciate any tips you can offer me
@Byron Zeke Thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
Cool build. All of the wood wouldn't pass inspection where I live but, it's still beautiful and gives me hope to be able to do some of the leg work when I build my bus out.
my husband want to a bus food truck I was so scared for him to do so although he is an outstanding chef but your vid gave me life it turned out so beautiful hopefully one day I can taste the coffee and food looked so delicious great job
Thanks so much for the great comments! Glad our video has inspired you to do a Food Truck also!! You can make it happen! Please subscribe also to my channel to keep in touch and see more updates also!
Cool build. Sorry but i have to say, one thing to consider is using a "sanitary tee" on the center tee for your drain. it will divert the water to one direction instead of splashing both ways in the pipe.
Thanks Rachel! WE kinda made our own floor plans by sketching out what we wanted to do and figuring out where we wanted to put things! I would start by doing some layout ideas yourself, but I would imagine their are others online as well!! Wish I could be of more help!! Good luck with your project!! Feel free to subscribe and check out more videos coming soon!
Hello, enjoyed your videoI am wondering if you have another water source for your espresso machine since it’s so far away from your other plumbing in the bus? Just wondering are you using a flo-jet pump system with a 5 gallon spring water bottle under there?
Nice job! Did you roll any paint or did you brush it all. Did you sand it all I'm doing a snack truck and I've watched your video 4x. What size is the service window
We brushed it all. I have a paint sprayer also and thought about spraying it, but it decided it would be too much taping and so we just brushed it all instead. We did not sand it, but you could based on the underlying paint condition. I can check and measure the window for you!
I learned a lot from your video at some point I subscribed and clicked like. The Vision and creativity and collaboration of different people made this special and amazing, I like this a lot.
I'm in the process of doing my own conversation project but I first need a to scale blueprint of the build before I can move forward so can you help me with where I can go to get a blueprint made for my build thank you for taking the time to read this
@@youngstersclothing Gotcha. Don't have much idea on where I can steer you as we didn't need to do it. Is it something they would allow you to do yourself. Maybe search google for plans others have made? Sorry I can't be more helpful. Thanks for watching though and all the best on your new food truck!
Awesome video - thanks for putting the video up I could only imagine the hours it took to do the video let alone the truck ... looking back is there anything else you would've done differently on the truck? Thanks again seriously!
Great transformation guys! I'm sure you'll make back your investment in short order (pun intended). The only question I have is why no exhaust venting? Looks like the heat buildup in the Summer weather would be brutal for anyone working inside of it. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks mrbr549! Yeah, we are still working things out fully, but we do usually set up our stove and oven outside when we are making food on a hot day! Just using the Espresso Machine inside doesn't cause too much heat build up. Thanks again for the comment and make sure you subscribe if you aren't already!!
So glad u like it. About $12,000 with the purchase of the bus and all the fabrication! If you can't do it yourself you can always buy one already done!. Check out usedvending.com! Thanks for watching!
nice job!! seriously, thanks for sharing! Curious, did you guys get a generator and a electrical panel in the bus or are you relying on extension cords for the electrical?
We Rely on electric cords and a plug in.....but our machine does at least work on propane and our pump on a DC battery if we absolutely need too be off grid. Feel free to subscribe as I will be doing some more updates and videos soon!
Great idea.. Im in Houston. I have the same idea. The Name of my Truck is coming soon. 6 letters 6 dishes... Great. Look Nice.. 1800.00 to 2500 for bus? About 4000 inside. I'am i about right?
Thanks Khalid. Please subscribe to my channel to see more great videos.! The Bus itself cost $3000.....with all the upgrades and equipment it was closer to $12-15,000
The bus itself was about 3-4000 dollars, and was about 10-12 years old with 130,000 miles,. THe whole conversion to a food truck was bout 12,000 dollars depending on equipment you put it.....
I love it. I bought a short bus back in 2012 and converted it into an ice cream truck. I had a lot of fun with it. A year and a half ago I thought I was done with all that driving and have been using the camp trailer conversion and a cute little castle that I built and recently sold, but now I have a bus coming the end of next month. I can barely stand the wait. You guys did a great job with it and looked like you were having as much fun building it as I did. How has it all worked out for you? Are you still vending. If you would like to see my bus you can go to: learnhotdogs.com type in ice cream lady. The title will say "she builds another concession trailer". That one is a later one I did. Under that will say "How to build a concession trailer". If you click on that it will take you to some builds then my bus will show up, then a trailer I built on a 5x8 flatbed trailer. I enjoy vending but I love building. You have inspired me to actually paint the whole bus. I don't know what color yet but I will figure that out as I go and get a feel for the color it should be. Thanks for the inspiration. Great video. ps What did you use for power? I had an outside plug in a breaker box with a generator on a platform so I could use the generator for ice cream truck or plug it in to an electrical source. I would like to not have a generator but don't know how to do that.
Yes, it was an exciting build! I will go and check yours out as well! Glad my video was able to give you some great ideas! Thanks for watching and all the best with your bus when you get started!
12:29 I'm sorry but by cutting off the brackets bottom half you just uninsured all integrity that was designed into the dang thing go to a welding shop get some angle and actually weld in the shelves js
Aluminum is tough to weld as you know, but with enough brackets, the integrity should be fine. The other thing to consider is cost. As you know, welding isn't cheap. So if the money could be spared, it should. I think how they did it was fine. Just place a couple extra along the length to make sure it's strong. The only thing I would add is some star washers to prevent backing out from the vibration over time...
