Haidilao employees have more power, and they can even deliver various dishes without the approval of the foreman. As long as the waiter thinks the guest needs it. She can call the shots and help the guests. This is the reason why this business can have so many good services. On the other hand, this also shows that the company is full of trust in even the most basic waiters. Therefore, Haidilao's waiters usually serve for a long time. Because of this trust, they will treat the company as their own and provide better services. The good relationship between business and service personnel is the reason for the success of this business.

Ooooo, Haidilao (海底撈). We also have restaurants in Hong Kong, even I have never tried it once, but did tried its instant box version that sometimes bought from small stores. Just place a container of Haidilao hot pot food into a bigger sized container, underneath is a warm bag, then put warm water and close the lid, wait for 15 minutes and serve. It tastes spicy, sweet and delicate.

Amy! I’ve shared your channel with so many of my friends in China! I shared your bilibili and 微博 they all love you so much as well! You are the reason I am so interested in China! Can I tell you something! My first day at university I was speaking to a girl, I noticed her accent and I said “你是中国人吗” and she was very surprised and said ”对呀我是中国人、你也是吗” then we had an amazing conversation, we added wechat and now she is my best friend and we plan on going to China together as well! And I also became friends with all the other Chinese international students🤣 they were surprised when they heard I can also speak Chinese, my Chinese is not good but speaking to natives has really improved my Chinese! In fact after our exams one of the 中国男 said if my friend gets 100% in her exam, he will take us all to eat 海底捞哈哈哈哈 so excited!!!

The fact that you've never been to a Haidilao is even more unusual considering there is one in Sydney that's been around for a few years now, you could have taken your parents there.

Haidilao has the best services! Even compared to far more expensive restaurant. Dining here cost me about USD$25+person. My wife was cold and she asked to turn the air-con down but since it was central air-conditioning it was not possible. So the waitress got her a blanket!!!! Plus they give my toddler a toy to play with! Plus the staff are very quick and have superb service. And this is Haidilao Jakarta. I heard the China ones have better services.

Haidilao is ace! When i was in shanghai (greatest city in the world) me & my wife went to Haidilao, the service was vip level and she disappeared for what seemed AGES to only reappear with her nails pampered...i was left alone for a long time, eating hot pot on my own with a member of staff stood nearby and kept topping up the broth... 😂😂😂

I was very excited when I found out HaiDiLao was opening in Chatswood! Do you know that in China you can also order home delivery Haidilao? They will come with the portable stove and pot, help you set everything up, and they will come collect when you’re done.

YESSSSSSSSSSS. I'm from Singapore and I love Haidilao so much over here. It's not just for the awesome tomato soup base (my most favourite too) and their service is just so great it makes you feel so happy when eating.

This is literally the coolest dining experience I’ve ever seen! They have tables for while you wait for your table! Other places just have you stand in a corner or sit at some crowded sofas while you wait but they got full on tables and chairs with snacks and drinks. This is the coolest thing ever. I have now decided I need to visit this place when I one day visit China. Even if I’m not a big hotpot person, it’s worth it for the experience. I will learn chinese just so I can go here. I did mandarin for a year at school and all I can remember is how to say “sandwich” because Chinese was really hard but I will try again just so I can go to this restaurant.

I don't go to the restaurant often because of the pricing, but I do love buying their hotpot bases to make them at home

Absolutely love Haidilao! Everytime I go they are too busy for me to get my nails done but honestly the waiting experience is pretty fun. I end up filling up on the “waiting” snacks and have to go light on the hotpot 😂😂

Haidilao entered Vietnam in 2020 and I think till now I've been there 6 times :D excellent food and customer service. And now I know about the secret menu, I think I'm gonna try it some time :D

Went to a Haidilao in Shenzhen 3 or 4 years back and was entertained by a bian lian face changing show while we waited. Though we went with a Chinese couple, our waiter/host spoke very good English and was very helpful. A good experience

Haidilao means a final pleasantly surprise as finally(Haidi) got it(lao)! Very delicious hotpot with self recipe sauces I tried it in Shanghai

Haidilao recently got "big" here in Indonesia. It has been expanding since they first opened in 2019. Even now we still have to queue to eat there especially on weekends, but i personally don't mind because i LOVE haidilao. I love that they're consistent in taste, the service is just amazing and i love the freebies (snacks and ice creams) of course lol. The only thing that "suck" for me is that they charged for the "all you can eat/take" sauce per person for like 3-4 bucks. I mean, it's impossible to eat haidilao without the tasty sauce, so each person is kinda "forced" to purchase the sauce. And yet ... recently they changed the sauce policy from "all u can eat/take" to "pay per ingredient", which i think its just ridiculous.

Since prunes are made of plums, I can see how it helps with constipation 👍

Omg can’t believe you only trying haidilao for the first time ! It’s the most commercialize China hotspot and tbh is the best one for me too, too bad during pre-covid times the queue is as long as 2-3hours and ppl still willing to queue for it in Malaysia , seeing u going makes me wanna go again !

A bit of cultural background: most people in China don’t make reservations for dinner, they just show up at the restaurant and wait (if it’s a causal gathering, not for special occasions). That’s why there is usually a long wait around dinner and many restaurants provide snacks and entertainment for waiting customers.

In fact, the operation of Haidilao is still good. Haidilao still has to queue in busy places, just like in your video. At present, when everyone chooses a hot pot restaurant, the first choice is Haidilao. Haidilao has opened too many stores before. For example, my hometown is a small county in the central region. The county's spending power is not high, and because in the north, except in summer, no one goes out shopping after nine o'clock in the evening, and no one wants to. Going out has resulted in Haidilao not having many customers in this county and may face losses. For these reasons, Haidilao is closing some stores.

When my friend took me to Haidilao in Nanjing we had to book like at least one day earlier, and then we had to wait like 40 minutes when we got there. It was so good though...

Saul: there is no other option when it comes to hotpot. Literally any local hotpot restaurant in Chongqing or Chengdu: am I a joke to you? As a Chongqing native I have never been to Haidilao for the entire 27 years of my life and I tend to keep it that way LOL

i lived in china for years and never went to haidilao, i actually just recently heard about it from my chinese teacher! she raved about the customer service, about things like how they have hair ties for customers so they can put their hair up while eating. once i'm able to go back to china (i got stranded outside due to covid, i was in the US on winter break when things closed) i'm going to try to find one in my city!!

The news is from last November from their earning call. They will be closing about 300 low profitable stores in mainland china slowly, that still remains 1000+ haidilao in mainland China.

As a Chinese, I have been to haidilao for almost 20 years, the first time i tried haidilao was back in 2006, I was in kindergarten, and my granny brought me there, then I fell in love with hotpot. As days goes by, haidilao has improved a lot, and it’s still my favorite dine when I want some hotpot

This guy is a legend… a hotpot god

First time to learn that they are famous for their tomato base. I bet most Chinese still go for the spicy special base. I have been there just a few times. Absolutely loved it. Been to the one in Flushing NYC. It's just way pricy though. Two people paid for almost $200. Uhhh, hope it's more affordable here in the US. Also please open more in other cities.

the teddy bear thing is 100% though. The one in london gave me a teddy bigger than i was... They were also super happy and even more polite and helpful when they realised I could speak some chinese

The first time I ate in Haidilao is in Singapore, but I don't know they have an option to make your own soup base...I wonder if they have that option in Singapore.
