"On Carnival Sunday, thousands of jesters flock to Brühl to experience the Brühl carnival parade “Närrischer Elias”. A cheerful and colorful festival that delights locals and visitors alike.
Colorful carnival groups, imaginative costumes, dance groups, honorary corps of the festival committee in neat uniforms, magnificent carriages and floats, accompanied by bands and marching bands, parade in front of cheering spectators. Camels, chocolate girls, Bützje and Strüßje fly and the city of Brühl shines with colors and music. The Brühl triumvirate and the Brühl children's triumvirate are the special highlight of the procession: the climax is reached with the enthusiastic shout of “D’r Prinz kütt”! Celebrate with us, enjoy the unique atmosphere and immerse yourself in the cheerful tradition of Brühl. See you at Foolish Elias!”
