PART 2/3: Calvero and Tozie have decided to leave the temple for new experiences. Along the way they meet some strange fellows, Gale, Cas and Phaye. Together they decide to join a guild and continue their journey to self-discovery. But trouble strikes when powerful enemies stand in their way and the group is on the run. Cal begins to have complicated feelings towards Phaye as she reveals her true connections with him and his lost father, who was her cruel mentor. Things spiral as his facade slips when Phaye starts falling for his best friend. The fears of being left behind as a old relic start to bubble up. With growing jealously towards the living and his friend, his bitterness begins to seep out, which Phaye takes note of. Cal's mask cracks as he stumbles upon the gory details of the mass genocide over his village, family and own death, caused by the human king. Running off in a manic state, Tozie follows and ties Cal up which leads to an explosive encounter as Cal is no longer able to contain his sorrows and anger. Deeply hurt, Tozie leaves wondering if he ever truly knew Cal in the first place. Which leaves Cal all alone... Part three, coming soon!!! Thanks for watching
I saw one picture of Cal on tumblr and ended up finding these and now I'm here really really hoping he gets a happy ending with his friends! This is such a fantastic concept and an awesome animatic! I keep rewatching, hoping to pick up more clues! Take all the time you need but know I'm eagerly awaiting part 3!
