Looks like Mashb1t got one last second update in and the interface has changed slightly. Presets are now in a dropdown and aspect ratios are in an expandable window. And if using with Pony models do check out the post here about changing the clip skip setting: github.com/lllyasviel/Fooocus/discussions/3002

Hi thanks for covering this, I usually use comfyui as i find it more intuitive to work with and control but it is nice to see fooocus coming along. I noticed the update tonight when i launched it as i wanted to do a quick bit of outpainting.

These are some great updates. I've been using Fooocus, Forge, and Fooocus -MRE for a while now. All have their merits, but Fooocus has been great with more frequent updates. Adding Clip Skip 2 was great. Plenty of SDXL models suggest it now.

Yeah I personally use Mashb1t's fork of Fooocus since it usually gets the updates before he pushes to the main Fooocus. I don't like the MRE one myself. Just don't like the interface I think and how things are set up.

@@moonduckmaximus6404 If you're like me, you have v.127.0.0.1. That one doesn't auto update. You need to install v.2.3.0 to get the update to v.2.4.0

Will say the Improve Detail function works decent in Fooocus for faces and hands if they are not deformed much and have correct number of fingers.

@@KLEEBZTECH Where is that exactly and also, you can use it on the generation itself or need to do an inpaint later? The good thing about ADETAILER in AUTO for ex. is you can use it on the generation, so not need the inapint extra step.

I would love it if Fooocus had their own AI videos tool in the future, I love their image generator so much that I think they would would make a very good AI video generator for us in the future.

I would not expect Fooocus to add that. If they add to many things then it just becomes a mess like some other UIs. But I am sure if someone wanted to contribute code to make it happen it is possible. But right now there is really only one primary person working on it with some contributions from others.

Hey kleebz thx for explaining the updates the questions i'm thinking about it that are we gonna able to use SD3 models in fooocus as similar as sdxl models or we've to use it by refiner? and also how can i add inpainting model to fooocus that i like?

As for sd3 we have to wait until more info is available. As for inpainting model you can disable the Fooocus one in debug menu and could download and use a specific model. Personally I don't because Fooocus has the best set up in my opinion so you can use any model for inpainting.

Very interesting video thanks. I wanted to ask you if you know of a very useful option. In the inpaint section I can use the brush to mask the areas to be modified. Is there the possibility of deleting only part of the created mask? That is, if I make a mistake in painting an area and I want to restore it, is it possible?

The only option is the undo option which will undo the last area you masked (CTRL-Z). There is no erase option yet but might see in the future. Think it is a limitation with one of the packages. I have learned to do smaller areas so if I mess up I can undo. I also do some masks outside of Fooocus and use the upload mask feature in the debug menu.

Great video as usual! Is this version already available on google colab? The old version doesn't load anymore but i couldn't find a new colab link for the updated version.

You should not need to change anything. I just tested my copy on Colab and it updated to 2.4.0 as it should. Are your issues after you run it and click on the Gradio link? Gradio was having issues earlier and I just checked and still seem to have an issue. Once you click on the link given it will eventually get a bad gateway error.

Please tips for faster model loading for SDXL. SD1.5 work fine but I always stuck on SDXL despite a shorter rendering with my RTX4060 8g

Is this a new problem with latest update? If so I would recommend going onto the Github page in the discussion section. It is pretty active and will probably be easier to do troubleshooting since RU-vid comments are not great for that.

Has something changed with the default "Performance" settings? The number of steps maybe? I'm getting worse results with similar prompts from 2.3.1 using the "Quality" preset.

First thing I would always test in circumstances like that is to try regenerating an image you did with previous version using the metadata from the log or if you use the embedded metadata. If you end up with different results with exactly the same seed and settings then there may be something. Quality performance is still 60 steps. I assume you mean Quality performance.

@@KLEEBZTECH Right, that's what I'm using, "Quality". Good idea for the tests, and yes there is definitely something going on as I'm unable to get the same results. Same settings pulled from logs, same seed, everything is the same and I'm not getting the same pictures. The new logs include the "Full Raw" prompts but I don't have them in 2.3.1 so I don't know if they added/removed stuff.

I'm having the same problem. My models suddenly look very different, my Loras no longer have a strong resemblance...quality has gone down immensely. Very weird.

I also posted this over on Github but want to mention I can get mine to recreate the exact same image... But not all. Might be certain models. I posted what I tested so far for models over there just in case it might help. That is best place for any bugs.

I may make a video on that. As for the VAEs I may do something on that but I usually use the default. I ran into a model that didn't have it built in once and that's why it has the new feature so one can be added if needed.

It should be back very soon I imagine. He has already figured out what the issue was. It technically worked. The code just needs to be tweaked slightly I believe.

You need to use a SDXL model in the base refiner slot where you choose the model. And next to that is another dropdown for refiner. Just select a SD 1.5 model in the refiner slot and you should be good to go. It will give recommended settings for the refiner switch once you do that. And then you can also use SD 1.5 LoRAs. Hopefully that helps.

Looking into issue right now. I have been able to recreate some images I had in the past but not others. Also I had luck with some adjusting the Clip skip so the issue might be with that.

Restart Fooocus. CLIP skip is removed for now. Should hopefully solve the issue.

Hi, do you know why the 2.4 version keeps overriding the config and flag file? I keep changing some parameters in config like how many images to do and getting tired of changing from 2 to 1 and adding new aspect rations to the flag file and the next time I run Fooocus my changes are gone.

Are you using locally? I have not run into that and it would seem odd since the config.txt file is only created if it does not exist already.

When you run the bat file does it show anything in the CMD window to indicate an issue with the config.txt file? I do know if there is a typo it will not use it. For example if the last line has a comma at the end.

Please could you help with the latest version and how to actually use Pony Diffusion models? they dont seem to work on this version at all. I Only use Pony diffusion models for Fooocus, but they broke something and it just does not work at all

It may have been related to the CLIP skip feature and that is now removed. It was causing issues. If you restart Fooocus it will probably work they way it did before.

That depends. They do have a useful chart on the GitHub page that will give you an idea. Do you have a video card with at least 4 GB of vram? It can run without one but it takes forever to generate images with CPU only and needs I believe 32 GB of RAM if you don't have a GPU that meets those requirements.

Do not do anything. That is just a default warning message from gradio which is what Fooocus uses but Fooocus uses the older version. You can just ignore that.

I am not familiar with any tools you can use on Colab for video. But then again I have not had much time to mess with AI video very much. Really don't use Colab much myself. For voice stuff which again I don't do much with I use elevenlabs.io/ but can't say how they handle Arabic voices but I would check them out if you have not.

Do not try to update Gradio. That is just a notification that Gradio does to get projects to change but Fooocus needs the version it is using.

Simple way to put it with my limited knowledge, supposed to make it so you can get good results from SDXL models with less steps. It does decent but if you have the hardware quality is still better.
