It should update itself unless there is an issue with your install. If any code has been modified then you most likely will not get updated. Often if any issues it can be easier to download a fresh install and have it update and then move things like your config and any other things like models. I personally keep my models in different locations since I have several installs and then point to the folders in the config so when I install fresh it only takes a couple minutes to get back running.
hey great videos! do you have any tips for generating consistent stills from video stills? i have tried putting up pyracanny&imageprompt to 80% duration with weight 1, even with changing the seed to be the same seed for each frame the background can change a lot
@@Skunkmail have you tried using the vary upscale section? With a decent prompt and adjusting an option in the debug menu that I can't recall the name of and not near computer. Has to do with overriding the value for vary. Don't know if it mentions denoise or not.
@@Skunkmail Forced Overwrite of Denoising Strength of "Vary" is the setting I was talking about. I am not positive it will do what you want since I am not 100% what you are doing.
How much does what cost? Fooocus is open source and does not cost anything. Be aware that there are scam sites that will try to trick you into thinking you need to pay.

Are you describing details of the face? If you describe things like eye color and such that will happen. Also use things like casual for example can help. But really the big thing is usually describing facial details will cause that to happen.

Unless you want to fork Fooocus and write your own code then that is not going to be possible. If you would like more added you could go on to the Github page and suggest things.

You can but you can't have the stop at and weight too high since those also influence the image. Also using a non realistic model like Cheyenne can help if you don't want photo realism.
what's the other way to do it? my only concern is I like to see what's going on , on a screen! this is scary as hell! and feel like I might screw it up? my flash drive doesn't light up I don't believe? it's a sandisk 3.0 32g

If your fan is not working then you don't want to change that. This is usually for people using all-in-one liquid cooling since there may be no fan to detect what's connected
Do not do anything. That is just a default warning message from gradio which is what Fooocus uses but Fooocus uses the older version. You can just ignore that.
So... newbie question: I use YoDayo for IA Image Generation and all... And my question is... is this basically YoDayo but for free (obviously using whatever hardware you have to generate images)?
I am not really familiar with that service but it sounds like that would be the case. Stable Diffusion can be used with online services as well but many people like to be able to do it on their own machines. Stability Matrix itself is just a program that makes it a little easier to setup and install different user interfaces for using SD.
I wanted to add a couple of missing settings in the developer debug menu, like disable preview,add metadata and read wildcards in order, but I don't know how to do it, Other than that the tool is working thanks a ton
For the metadata I did not include that in the presets since I feel that should be in the config.txt and didn't want to overcomplicate things. It can be added to the config (or presets manually) using "default_save_metadata_to_images": true, "default_metadata_scheme": "fooocus", for example. The other two do not have options available with Fooocus so there are no settings I can add for those.
I thought there was a FOOOCUS for photos that doesn't use stable diffusion. There's plenty face swap for photos, but they are all online. Why has it become so difficult to get anything offline anymore? Does anyone know of a total offline app?
This video is very helpful. I have made many changes but have not figured out how to set a Preset in the config file. I would like to make realistic as my default setting when I open Fooocus. Any insights you could share would be appreciated.
That is determined by what is in your bat file if using a normal install and not the config. If using in something like Stability Matrix then you would add the preset to the launch arguments options. If you downloaded and unzipped which is the default way there is a bat file called realistic.bat that has been configured to start with realistic. But I do have a new video I just did that covers presets and a new tool I created for making them and I do show towards the end how to edit the .bat file to add the preset. I just did a test and it worked for me. I normally have that option in my config but I did go in and delete it from my config to test and added to my preset and it worked. Are you getting any message when you start Fooocus in the CMD window that might indicate an issue?
I assume you mean having the input image box auto checked like the advanced? I don't think that is an option that is available to add. I could be wrong of course and if there is a configurable option I would add it.
I do have one on Cheyenne checkpoint but I will probably be doing more. Just working on streamlining my process since those videos are actually very time consuming to produce.
When on the package page in SM you should see a gear for settings for Fooocus. Click on that and at the bottom you will find the Extra Launch Arguments. In that box you would just put "--preset cat" for example just like I added in the bat file.
I am still tweaking my presets for Pony right now. Plan on a video soon and will share my presets at that point. One big thing to do is make sure you are using the prompts they recommend otherwise the results will not be good. My presets will also include custom styles.
