Hi Chip. This is your bread and butter so to speak but essential. l viewed your new series recently and learnt your father passed recently . I could see and feel your emotions. (Brock is a very handsome young man by the way ) Always remember the good times with your Dad . You were blessed that your father was also your mentor. I was not so fortunate and learnt panelbeating and painting the traditional way . I'm now 67 and restoring my own cars now ! I still see my mentor and thanks to him l became the highly skilled person l always hoped l would be. Chip, I think we were both fortunate to have that guidance . Type 3 pick up ? I think that's been Foosed! Take care and stay safe.
Chip is the man if you have the cash , it will be done right always . Chip is hands on / eyes on every Foose project . I wish I had the cash for Chip to do my car . I can only dream .
My first street car was a 56 Sport Coupe BelAir mild custom. I've always had a soft spot for them, However I had a string of 57s after I blew the engine in the 56 on my way to school one morning. Looking forward to watching this build! (even more than most!) Carry on Chip!, carry out our dreams !
What a GREAT car. I remember the first one that came by the station for gas. Took a while to find gas filler LOL. Have absolutely LOVED the '56 Bel Air seems like for ever.
Working on cars is a gift. My father got me taking a 265 apart at 13 years old. He did tell me your telling me how it goes back together. I have done 4 restoration in my lifetime at 58 working International banking Investigations have a dream get a 70 Charger and make it all 2020 Specs from bottom up. Is coming to you. Being following you and seen you and your team love your work. Nice video.
Prior to returning from overseas while in the military, I ordered a 56 Belaire identical to this one, same color. The colors are “Fawn Beige & Sierra Gold”. Sure brings back the memories!
The man's right. You want it done right go to the absolute best. I would feel confident with anything Chip Foose does. I wouldn't even worry if I just told him nothing more than to do what you do and come back to a complete surprise. That'd be kinda cool
Chip Foose’s very easy going demeanor has to be so comforting for the owner, he has done it all and nothing surprises him, he’ll just get it done and then some for this owner. The owner said it best go to the best and you won’t be disappointed, I went through a bad restoration on my 70 Cuda ... 6-½ years I finally got it straightened out and it was stolen!.... need to build another one, like Chip built for Joe Rogan.... only black with a red interior!
Dreaming of a 56 - Greetings from Austria, but with a 25,000 Dollar full time yearly job salary - I thing I will never get one - great videos, please more of them ! Thank, Robert
Been following you for years, one of the greats, I'd say greatest designer fabricators I've ever seen, you r a riddle wrapped in an enigma...way cool skills
You may have been taken on the last few attempts at a restoration. But your about to be taken again, but this time to a while new level of happy days. If only I could get the Chip Foose magic touch on one of my projects.
Hi Chip, Always enjoy your work...... Wish I could afford to have you build my 1st Gen Cummins Crew Cab Conversion. I know you would make it AWSOME ! Thumbs Up !
A great artist, his canvas are cars I only have 2 things in my "bucket list" 1 to swim with the dolphins 2 to get a tri-5 pick up ( I've wanted one sence before high school) .. I want to be able to drop it off and say here plz "Foose" it. .. @ being closer to 70 ... there's still time left for 1 of them.
Chip -- how about a video of the cars of your crew? And one day perhaps a video of your (and Lynne's or your kids) personal projects? I ask as I see that El Camino'd VW Squareback and I remember inevitably there was always unique cars of many of the employees at Boyd's @1995-1998 like your Firebird and BMW.
i like how chip was honest with him about the quarter windows leaking they will always leak just a poor design from new even on our australian 50's cars they leak only way i got them to seal completely was to seal them up with mastic and not open them
I look at my 57 and think, wow I did that back in 85 and its still on the road and raced at the drag strip with the original Daytona frame. In 85 there were no pre made upgraded frames. I must of done something right.
HOW IS IT GOING TO BE. FOOSE? AS ALWAYS AN EXCELLENT JOB. MUCH ADMIRE MR. AND HIS WORK, WHICH IS INCOMPARABLE AND UNIQUE, A GREAT EMBRACE OF THE VAGNER OF SÃO BERNARDO DO CAMPO, SÃO PAULO, BRAZIL💛🇧🇷💚
Chip : what would your take on a 1962 Dodge Polara coupe be? depending on your tastes, it's either the worst car design you have ever seen, or ( you're like me) you think it is one of the most beautiful. I'd like to see what you would do. Love the silver roadster. Tom from Australia.
Hi ! i'm on the same project with a 55 and i would like to know with the original body without making modifications what width of wheels it put behind how many inch wide
I do find piece when I watch Chip oversee the progress and actually become involved in a car build. This one shouldn't of had to come in for a frame problem. Granted, this car could have a hundred thousand miles. Even then the suspension shouldn't of fell apart and place even a risk to the passenger of this car. There was a lot of money put on a car that just fell apart at the windows to the roof and then down to body and frame where it should of remained quite solid
