I looked on their web site to make a purchase, but was surprised about the monthly app fee. Can it be used without signing-up for a monthly app fee?

So it costs a minimum of $350 for two plus $5.99/month for the app. Then it ties up a table of which most people only have one so it can't be used for regular play without the tedious job of removing it every time and it interferes with picking up the loose balls that stop in the area it's mounted in. I'll just make my girlfriend do it
