29 May 2024: I had my follow-up appointment with the foot doctor today, and I no longer have to use the crutches or my knee scooter. Although I am making good progress with the healing, he touched one spot on the side of my foot that caused me to jerk. I'm allowed to start walking unassisted, but must have aircast boot on. He said to walk
at least two weeks with the boot on before I try walking with my sneaker on. The doctor really emphasized that if I try walking without my aircast, I am only to try with my sneaker on ONLY if there is absolutely no pain.He said not to be surprised if it is another month before there is no pain. My next appointment is on 10 July.
