I'm 29 my last race was two years ago in a dirt super latemodel been racing since I was ten and when I went to college at UNC I drove a asphalt super late for a team and a dirt super latemodel for same team. I got the chance to race at this track and man they do a great job on the surface here most of the time fun track to drive kinda tricky you gotta throw it in hard but drive off as straight as possible This video gave me that itch to go racing again and makes me wanna go out to the shop and put my latemodel back together and my shaw dirt modified as well for usmts series. Looks like to me you never got past half throttle on the start and man that sucked you ended the night early I hate when that happens over something dumb
When those 2 cars went left my immediate thought was that they were avoiding something. Then I was really surprised when that turned out to be right... Too bad, short night.
I remember seeing Ricky Rudd's footwork on a road course and thinking it was the most amazing skill I'd ever seen. Magic! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-7DhtCbSayj0.html
I love my Racing I'm from a racing family we still got 2 cars we was running until covid 19 Kenny Collins man Bro could have definitely used a spotter in that situation he could have maby avoided if the spotter said Get low or go low
Kenny lives about a half mile behind me. Been knowing him and his parents since he was born. Now look at him........27 or 28 now? His dad raced for ever seems like.
If you in the back lay back and take it easy until the cars get sorted out. You'll win more and tear up less that way. Or at least stay down low super low on the starts...
It depends on what the engine is made of. Some steelhead late models I know of push around the 8-9k mark. But most of these engines are aluminum and can probably run around 9-10k rpm. I don't know for sure since I'm not part of a late model team. I am part of a limited sportsman team and our steel block/steel heads run between 7500 to about 8200 but that's pushing the limits. Hope this helps.
If you were to place an Infant, on the Roof, "Aunt Edna" style, the Infant, would disintegrate and a distressed Announcer would say, "Listen, Listen, a Baby's a missin.'" Is how many RPM's (Really Pissed off Mother)
@@TheAussieFloofBert 2 speed, clutch in to get the car moving in reverse and low gear. Once you’re rolling around 2-3k in low, clutch out and slam it into high gear
he cant control what happened on the track. since the driver crashed he had to leave all the cautions in there or it would have been a very short video.
Really? There was a total of maybe 30 seconds of footwork while racing - of which not even an entire lap was completed. What a waste of time this video was.
Jesus example of a lot of guys who have no business in a Late Model. Not you of course, guys were wrecking under caution! 😂 can’t make a lap without getting crossed up or wrecking, what a shame
