I loved this. My Dad was a Roche boy and my Grand parents lived right in the centre across from Butcher Hawkes So nice to see. That village when I was a kid holds so many memories for me.

We had more shops back then. Stephens bike shop, bests next door, morris yellands, Bennetts haberdashery, spar on the hill, and rex Thomas's up trezaise, the chip shop was a beauty as well, that was a proper village, you knew everyone, alas, those days are long gone, 😢
OMG,just been taken back to my childhood in the village (which was a good one from the age of 8 yr).Seeing people I knew as a child and are now sadly gone. Well I say thankyou to Stephen Stocks for this. To See John having his house built,Mr Hicks going home,seeing Dave Yoe walking arround the village & many more was lovely but to see Percy in his bobble hat!! what a lovely character,on my way back to School from lunch he would ask me to run up and get him fish & chips at least twice a week,don't think I was ever late back.!
hi steven brings back old memorys, i love films like this, i used to drive for micheal mudge haullers praze camborne,14yrs ago love to see the old thames trader in action and dodge , digger back hacker track machines, miss them all,thankyou for a great film
This is after 1970, the MK3 Ford Cortina dates it as such. It amazes me that nearly every vehicle (bar two) were British made.....what on earth happened?
