I wish you and your db room were around when I was playing ball. This would have been very helpful, but the nice thing is the kids now-a-days have your tutorials to help them develop good habits! Also, looking forward to your next Interview.
Man I would've never thought that you play high to low, that's why you always see the back getting the ball out the flat instead of the receiver running up field...I thought it was blown coverage it's really set up so he has nowhere to go but the flat.
Hey Glover. Question. What are the run responsibilities in cover 2? Do corners play inside the receiver with the safety taking away the sideline or vise versa? Thanks for the videos!
I've honestly went from basically 0 football playing knowledge to understanding these basics...I've been watching old games and watching the game is so much different for me now!!! I just understand what happens more of the time opposed to just watching and saying oh he caught the ball...he ran through that gap or he picked off that throw...I understand how that play happened...Thanks GQ
If a team is lined up in 11 Personnel, what is the difference between calling a defense lined up in a 3-4 with a DB substituted as a Nickelback and calling a nickel defense right out the gate or is there any difference?
That’s not a 3-4. It’s a nickel package called 3-3-5, generally run on the college level. 3-4 is three down linemen, four linebackers. Nickel 3-3-5 is three down linemen, 3 linebackers.
