Maaaaaaannnnnnn, this is what football has been missing. You’re going to make the evolution of football so much better by giving these younger dudes access to this info early in their career. Good shit bro.
You probably dont care but if you guys are stoned like me atm you can watch pretty much all the new movies on Instaflixxer. Have been watching with my brother during the lockdown =)
Coming up quick in the RU-vid game GQ!! Great to see former players spreading knowledge.. and to make it better you're one of the only ones I've watched who breaks it down with thorough explanation and examples. #OnePrideOrDontRide 💪🏾🦁
Great breakdown GQ, can you maybe cover leverages and where DB's should be typically lining up against different formations? I know the SS plays outside leverage in Cover 1 but would you also have your other guys play outside too? I'm an offensive coach down in Texas but making the move over down to the defensive (good) side Haha and your videos are a lot of help. Thank you
Almost to 1k but still not 1mil so the campaign continues. Keep it coming to many learning football from madden when they should be looking for your channel and others like it that actually teach football concepts
Right! The subs will come man! Not too worried about that! Just trying to build the channel authentically! Not going after click bait just to get people on! If people want to learn more they will subscribe!
@@thedbroom I agree with you I use to play LB in college and I am always trying to learn more so I appreciate what you are doing I can't wait until your next Q&A because I have a question I really want your thoughts on
I hope he still makes these videos this guy is such a great teacher and his channel is so underrated it ahould have so many more views and subs Im trying to learn to coach Juco football im currently the equipment manager and film guy but wanna learn and this helps so much
When there is YAC motion do the DE and DT adjust their positions by shifting one gap to accommodate for the shift of TE to the other side or do they just stay in the same place? also would the Wheel and Sam linebacker also switch as well or no?
Only difference is the amount of people you have to cover! If you only have 2 linebackers and you have 2 backs, then both of those guys have to cover so you lose you low hole free player! If you have 3-4, then you have 4 guys to cover 2! So now you can rush one of those backers to create 4 man pressure, cover with 2 of them, and still have free player in middle!
In madden this play sucks because you can easily identify it and just have two Receivers near the sidelines going deep and one safety can’t cover both, or you can run slants and it works the same way just lower down the field is this similar to how it goes irl?
Haha Stanford throws a good deep ball to the sideline! Tough to intercept but also tough to hit that spot all the time!! Pass rush plays a lot in it too!!
Hello Sir, my friends are STOKED man. Anyway, sure wish I had these types of Instructional Videos when I was playing ball back in the day! Do you think there's a point to which a player can over think the terminology & concepts which makes him play tight? At what point does a player just go out and don't think and just ball? Is over thinking it sometimes an issue for a player? Thanks in advance!
I think players play tight and try to over think when they don’t really understand the ins and outs of the defense! When you know everything that you have really well! When you know what they are gonna try to do to beat or attack you, you can go out and just ball! When you can spend more time thinking about the other team as opposed to think about your responsibility, you can just play and have fun!
