I was stationed at the academy as an Airman at the hospital there. The hospital had a phase II school for Radiology techs. This was 50 years ago now and I'm sure the amount has skyrocketed, but I learned that in 1972 The Academy earned $300,000 per year from the networks to air their games. I can only guess what they get in 2023.
It's a Hawaiian War Chant that some players learned when they were in Hawaii for a bowl in the late 90's. Chanted after every win. The tradition has continued for 25 years. Its called "Oh Chi Lei Lei."
