Chelsea robbed by another appalling VAR decision! Liverpool and Arsenal deprived of a Premier League title. Football is being destroyed and Mark Goldbridge is disgusted. Have your ay in the comments.
It’s straight up a conspiracy. The commentators find reasons why the call was right on live tv, the pundits same after the match & PGMOL will go on a propaganda tour backing the call
The game has become a joke... You want to see the officiating in the championship and English league 1. But the prem has no excuse as there's VAR to back them up...
Yet Howard Webb rates them as the best... go figure! Understand though, whoever it is, he doesn't make the decision to gift City the title - that decision is made for him...
You clearly haven't seen Simon Hooper. That guy has been stood down and had Howard Webb apologising for his actions twice this season ... And he still gets games.
That Everton v Forest game was a joke. One of the worst refereeing performances I’ve seen. Forget VAR for a minute, how has Anthony Taylor not given at least 2 of those penalties on the field. Stuart Attwell on VAR needs seriously looking at, a Luton fan with 3 of the most biased, blatant incorrect decisions you’ll see.
These refs now hide behind VAR and the group that is PGMOL. So instead of making onfield decisions they wait on VAR, then VAR is scared to overrule the ref so doesn’t give it so we’re left on the limbo where nothing happens. It’s week after week.
Btw, Stuart Attwell also had on Burnley on VAR for Villa away. We were robbed out of a point for a last minute Villa penalty. So he’s got previous for this type of thing with relegation threatened teams
the thing that is even weirder is if you go to the bundesliga, VAR is used perfectly and very well and rarely do you ever see a contraversial descision after var , it just pure incompetene in the prem.
They are practically untouchable and completely unaccountable at this point. Howard will probably say it should have been a pen or corner tomorrow and then they will just carry on
Consistency? Why did Walker get penalised at the end when he committed the foul? It was not as bad as when he knocked over Jackson who was getting away from him in the penalty box? If it’s a foul that was also a pen never mind the pen/corner that was given as a goal kick.
Probably the worst part for me you can clearly see the ball chance direction if you think it's ball to hand or whatever natural position you still have to give the corner!
I know, you couldnt make this sheet up. It stinks of cheating and corruption and ineptitude. SACK HOWARD WEBB & PGMOL THEY ARE USELESS AT THEIR OWN JOBS.
And unfortunately most PL football fans are ar**wipes. They think football was invented in 1992. I'm convinced most modern football fans have no idea what football is really about.
As Liverpool fans, we've been saying this for years and it's probably one of the main reasons Klopp is leaving England. The wrongful decisions are getting more media attention now as there's more teams involved in the title race, but this isn't new to us and it shows the breadth and depth of corruption in the PGMOL.
@@lfcoey I guess when you blow the league you blame city and the ref, when Gerard slipped I guess it was the ref fault and when you choked a 3-0 lead to palace it was city
Theres a refereeing disaster literally every single week… EVERY SINGLE WEEK. Its INSANE. It HAS TO be corrupt, because they genuinely can not be this bad
It was obviously corrupt after that offside incidence. 3 grown men simply don't make mistakes like that all of a sudden. I imagine Klopp quit his job because he wants out of this mess.
@@wekings9073 absolutely correct, but this began long before Spurs/Liverpoool... what about Lee Mason last year? And how come he lost his job after such a high-profile gaffe, but Darren England - whose gaffe was much bigger - doesn't get the sack?!?!
Michael Oliver was the ref who awarded Leicester city a penalty when Knockaert clearly dived. It set up that spectacular finish from Watford, but he was terrible back then and he’s still bad today. Why does he continue to get big games ?
remember liverpool v city when trent handballed it twice in a matter of seconds and nothing was given? michael oliver was the ref. that road goes both ways mate
City fan here: It was Chelsea's game any day of the week, it was Liverpool's game at Anfield. Not only is the officiating a disgrace, but it puts a negative outlook on our club. I want a fair victory over teams, no club should be falsely winning games. We already have a 115 ruining our reputation and now referees like Oliver just add fire to fire.
As a liverpool fan we’ve been done so wrong this year. BS red cards Loads of missed penalty’s, odegaards handball, Dokus, kick, Diaz’s offside call.. it’s been a nightmare
And I’ve only just remembered all of those decisions against us due to us basically throwing the league away. But we’ve been absolutely ripped off left right and centre this season 🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ What a joke
@@keeganmurphy1 the previous comment refers to you.... Trouble is, 99% of fans are entirely tribal so they're outraged on a Saturday when it's their club that gets screwed over but then laughing it up and bantering off a rival club's fans when they get screwed over by an almost identical incompetence on the Sunday! Nothing will change until fans develop more of a collective voice against it for the good of the game as a whole.
True what makes it worse is how quick decisions are dealt with in Europe. In England they seem to try there hardest to back up the on field refs decision and not look for the right outcome.
Yeh bro there has been football robberies throughout...some tht have decided crucial titles....bcoz now we have var...a lot of the decisions are more accentuated thn in the past bcoz of var...
@@LeeTAZ-sl7dethis. It’s as if the VAR are forced to back up the refs no matter what, and not actually try to make correct decisions, the very thing it was brought in to do
The fact that the officials are so bad that we know their names tells you we are doomed. WE SHOULD NOT KNOW THEY EXIST. OUR FOCUS SHOULD BE ON OUR CLUBS AND PLAYERS.
same here but he did say after the semi ,Coventry were robbed but whatever supposedly, cant have it both ways but yes I'm LFC and I agree with him on this but you cant have exceptions 👍
Oliver on payroll in UAE blanked a glaring pen and even the corner resulting from Grealish’s deflection. All refs are bent and English football is stage managed. Why did the pundits not dare say anything when this appalling incident happened? Oliver has been freelancing in UAE. When are we going to have this conversation?
Michael Oliver is a lifelong city fan. Shouldn't be allowed anywhere near a city match, yet somehow the pgmol keeps putting him there for some strange, convenient reason. Definitely nothing sketchy happening here....
Michael Oliver and David Coote (VAR) were paid a hefty sum to referee matches in the UAE who are the owners of Manchester City. Clear conflict of interest that wouldn't be allowed anywhere else in the business world. And it's obvious they are trying their best to get more paid trips to the UAE.
Can't understand why more isn't said about this. For the Liverpool v Man City game, Oliver returned to the UK on the Wednesday before the game on Sunday, after 'officiating' in the Abu Dhabi League.
Totally agree! Officiating in the PL this season has been disgusting. But sadly nothing will come of it. The introduction of VAR here in Norway has also been disgusting. No accountability what so ever
aww your club isnt lone superteam anymore deal with it . the quality of football is better then ever so if u really liked football itself instead of your own team winning it you woudnt be crying get over it
@@kaboutertje1561 Good i love liverpool as a club why you mad you are still one of the organic clubs and are still pretty much challenging for everything in the organic way plus you are the only team that seems to be able to be THAT side to city Good times for liverpool fans no? football is fun its just logic that with the insane amount of influence the sport has (most watched sport in the world ) that overtime more and more money is coming into the game . its inevitable
@@jonnyroberts3618ppl get robbed deal with it Newcastle olwent out to psg because of a handball that was the ball touching Livramentos chest and that was a massive decision
@@smanvir94 Liveprool would be clear at the top with fair officiating. City have had one decision go against them all season against Spurs whilst having countless go their way. Liverpool and Arsenal have suffered numerous.
Here is a solution: Arsenal and Liverpool future opponents have to come in terms with losing all the games against both teams... At least the cheating will be balanced
Trouble is, 99% of fans are entirely tribal so they're outraged on a Saturday when it's their club that gets screwed over but then laughing it up and bantering off a rival club's fans when they get screwed over by an almost identical incompetence on the Sunday! It's mind boggling that no one else is talking about Micheal Oliver's highly questionable decisions that directly or indirectly favour Manchester City.
@@sopronunciareglignocchi7255 “We don’t know”, pretty much says it all. You’re trying to find a conspiracy when it doesn’t exist. By any chance have you counted up the times where he has given the decision against Man City that benefited the other team or are you just looking for the ones that benefitted City because it suits your narrative?
Why didn't they send of Caicedo then? Also why do you watch a rigged competition? Everything is rigged match fixed cheating refs paid off for football fans but you pay for Sky, you buy the seasons tickets and you turn up. To a rigged sporting event.
Glad you made this video because seems like people are getting accustomed and used to these referees and var errors and that could be the worse thing possible right now
@@malsmith1618 He's dropping that in at the end to seem unbiased. He is biased. And that's the issue with his argument. Every complaint he has nowadays as far as football goes, more or less, seems to be underlined by Man City.
The handball on Grealish yesterday is as blatant as the Liverpools offside call. Not only did they not give a pen... They did not even give the corner! Like there was even a question if the ball hit Grealish? What on earth is going on with this?
It amazed me to see the decision waved away so quickly. It not only hit his arm, he moved his arm toward the ball and worse it deflected it off target. Unbelievable. Not even gave a corner. The question is what can the ordinary fan do about the game being stolen and run by idiots. Not a lot?
Don't go to the games and don't watch it on TV, check the highlights but not on the EPL streaming channel... If they're going to change, they must feel it in their pockets.
Mark why didn’t you mention that Michael Oliver referees in Abu Dhabi and is paid by the same company that owns Man City. That is a conflict of interest and Oliver would be unconsciously biased towards Man City.
Var was the perfect way to RIG football. Hidden people working with tv to control outcomes and make the Premier league entertaining and the best in the world. Sure city had been donating to the refs association😂 also its clear
I agree with this. As an Arsenal fan we've had decisions go against us, but also had some go for us. The issue is the consistency; we've gone from having inconsistency due to refs missing things, to inconsistency due to rules being changed to make them commoditisable and VAR refs either applying the old or new rules. The problem is we now have to wait 3-4 extra mins per decision. Just change it so every team gets 1 VAR check per half, resetting if the team correctly appeal, and make it so all that happens it the referee gets different camera angles and talks through his decision, with a VAR ref on hand only to flag things the ref missed or wants an extra opinion on, but the ref on the pitch gets the final shout. There will still be mistakes but at least this way we get a little bit of improvement and the onus is still on the ref to referee well.
Completely agree with you, Mark. I remember the days when the Champions League was on ITV but now football is mostly behind a paywall now. It has ruined the game
Extra likes, thanks for speaking up so eloquently, concisely, and cool headed. Now the league just waits for everyone to come at you and they don't need to respond the mob points fingers in all directions while the higher ups skate away
It's beyond a joke now. I was against the idea that it was corruption and thought it was mere incompetence, but at this point, it genuinely can't be anything but. I really can't believe my eyes anymore and doubt I can endure another season of this.
If most supporters voted on with their feet and boycotted all games then they will soon get the message that need to sort out the game and stop the nonsense.
Thank you for always telling the truth, instead of just accepting bad officials destroying this game. Keep up the good and desperatley needed work for our game Goldbrigde!
City has different charges. They're not accused of breaching ffp. They're accused of fiddling with their books and paying salaries through dodgy companies eich is much worse but also harder to prove. Everton and forest was an easy one. They overspent over a period of 3 years and got punished. Pretty straight forward.
Spot on. When it gets to the point you even understand other rival teams getting these decisions as well so consistently inconsistently wrong then you know there’s a problem.
As a lifelong Liverpool fan since the sixties I have never seen such poor officiating, their is something going on with city don't know what it is but something not right, we all know about the 115 charges but their is something else.
The refs are paid by UAE to ref in the league. Man City owners are from UAE, Thats why some people suspects bribery. Linda hard not to when you see the Man City favours on top of that.
The issue is refereres from the league gave been invited and paid by Man City owners to referee a few games in the UAE league. the referees then look corrupt when also refereeing i the EPL and calls for City will seem a bit more dodgy.
Been following football since 1975 and I use to know what the rules were but now I’ve got no idea. When something happens now including goals, I just don’t react anymore as I’ve got no idea if it’s a foul or a handball, red card, yellow card or a goal.
All the best Mark Im a Liverpool Fan from Switzerland and want to say thank you to your side. The view on the premier league that you explain is this what we also see in the rest of europe... make the football basic again and be honest, that should be the answer.
