“Last thing you want to do is to confuse a footballer, because in can easily be done!” Cue laughter Roy Keane looked genuinely surprised to have made other people laugh, as if the concept of a joke was fascinating to him
@@manchesterisred99 Because it wasn't like now days were you can pause live TV or rewind etc, so when an ad break came on you'd take a piss or make a cup of coffee or whatever so it was just to get pretty much tell ye to get ready. Weird I know.
If you cannot speak about something, like your telling it to a child, you do not really understand it. When at school, you know the best teachers are the ones who are so confident in knowing what they are teaching, they can explain it in very simple terms. If you cannot break down anything into simple terms, you do not really understand it. I agree with roy keane, i am sure it is very easy to confuse a footballer.
That was a Little try, who says he couldn’t become one, you just have to know the game really well and tacticly. He is always so calm and knows what he is talking about - you can see that all the time when he is a pundit But anyway, look at Frank Lampard and Steven Gerrard lol, who says that they are Good managers? They just Walked straight in to their Jobs/where they are Chelsea and Rangers But ofcourse they have had gr8 managers in their football Careers It’s a hard one to really maybe, if you are on the outside and not the inside
@@jacobjacob7384 No Jacob, that's not the joke. The joke he made insinuated that it's easy to confuse footballers because they're viewed as very unintelligent in the UK.
@@jacobjacob7384 Yes he did do it on purpose. He deliberately insinuated they're stupid. It was the shock factor that made them laugh. This isn't even debatable. Are you even from the UK? Do you understand our humour? This is what Roy Keane does, week in week out. You've completely misinterpreted this video.
Football is simple. You try to score in the opponents goal and after 90 minutes hopefully you have done that more times than the opponent. To say the game is simple is so not true and probably why Roy Keane failed as a manager. If you ask the top managers in the world if the game is simple they will laugh at you. Obviously the objective is simple but each team uses different tactics to win and those tactics can be complex and difficult to pull off.
Roy is definitely guilty of "complicating the game" when he decided to get sent off all those times leaving the rest of the team to carry his dead weight. One of the biggest and worst hypocrites ever to play the game.
Made over 600 career appearances and only been sent of 13 times ? I’d love to know what you are smoking because Roy is one of the greatest midfielders to grace the game , the game lacks characters like Roy now.
"Football is simple" says one of the game's failed managers. Yes Roy, simple indeed. Proof that many great players have a less than stellar understanding of the tactical complexities that won them trophies.
