Brought back memories. My younger brother's high school football team back in the mid-80s had a nearly uncatchable running back, and the last game of his senior season he broke off what looked like it would be an 80+ yard touchdown run - except he deliberately stepped out of bounds at the one yard line to give his blocking fullback a shot at his first-ever TD. Took three tries, but he got it.
