Too many complications with %, should've left it as it was on the first episode, just the difference between the answer and a guess and then add them all up at the end

I’m a maths teacher and some of these % calculations were rather dodgy 😂 like how does a guess of 90 matches for Cancelo but he only had 2 appearances make up a 191% score? 😂

@@LukePingu Nah I love the concept and it was a great watch all the same! I think you’re right that you have to use percentages because you can’t do how many appearances away from the original when some players have 300-odd appearances and others have 30 😂 Just do how far it is away from the actual appearances as a % of their appearances! So for example that would be 88/90*100 = 98%. Or let’s say a guess of 56 appearances when they’d actually made 110 would be 54/110*100 = 49%, and so on!

If everyone's struggling with the percentages, which sometimes are incorrect tbf, you could change it back to appearances but make sure both you and your guests have a certain amount of players within an appearance bracket. One of the complaints was "if one player has 500 appearances but you say 300 then that skews it". For example, you could make it so you and the guest have say 1 player with over 400 appearances 2 players with 150-300 appearances All other players are fair game from 10-100 appearances Fan of this game and feel bad for you seeing all the comments talking about the percentages lol

I made this suggestion too you should suggest that the maximum and minimum is like 900 appearances ans maximum is 1000 from the 11 players

⁠Maybe you should change it. Like the Robinson one you just calculate how much 41 is in % from 83 that‘s 49,3% (49) Say the next one you say 70 and it‘s 100, that‘s 70%. The next one you say 100 but the answer is 70 again that’s 70%. Cause you’re 30 games away both times just the other way round. Now you do 49 + 70 + 70 = 189. Just always do the higher numer (doesn‘t matter if it‘s the one you said or the right answer, it won‘t make a difference) And at the end the one with the higher total wins.

It's a percentage difference calculator that he's using. It's the absolute value of the change in value (difference in guess to true number of appearances), divided by the average of the 2 numbers and then multiplied by 100. It would make more sense to use a percentage change calculator, change in value (difference in guess to true number of appearances) divided by the absolute value of the original value (true number of appearances), multiplied by 100

Could do the scoring in percentages like this: Say you guessed a player had 140 appearances for a club, but they had 280. You could do 140%280 X 100= 50% and u can say u are 50% correct. The person with the highest percentage overall by adding up all the scores and % by 11, is the most correct overall and wins the game

As the person who suggested the idea of percentages, I feel it's my responsibility to give the formula here lol XD: |Guessed Answer - Real Number| / Real Number * 100 Where |any number| means that keep the number positive if it's positive and convert the number to positive if it's negative. Like: |10| = 10 |-10| = 10 For example: If real number is 41 and guessed number is 83, The percentage will be: |83-41|/41 * 100 = |42|/41 * 100 = 42/41 *100 = 102.4% Hope that helps😊 P.S. If you're finding it hard to find people to do this series I'm ready to get embarrassed 😂

If that's the case, can you explan the 29% for Neto? (180-134)/134*100 = 46/134*100 = 34%. Unless I'm buggin' or my calculator is off, then 29% isn't right... others look off as well. Pingu got an abacus or something?

Any percentages should be under 100, they shouldn’t go above 100 for this. Lower divided by the larger number. No idea how you even got 191

I see people having a problem with the calculations but the percentage is the fairest way so you're spot on. If you count how many appearences you are away from the answer there's no consistency as you'll be considerably more out if you're choosing a player who has hundreds of appearances for a certain club as opposed to under 100 appearences.
