@@firstdowntrainingI know it’s not related but around what bmi weight and 40 time should a qb be I am injured right now and looking to shake my game up I’m out of my cast in 1 week so would you recommend any thing to do particularly while I’m injured to get me back faster
Can you make a video on how I can understand different zone concepts as a QB? Examples such as Cover 2 or 3. I have trouble recognizing different types of zone defenses. Thank you.
Great video like always! When you throw on the run, is it normal to feel more of that stretch sensation in your side / obliques than when throwing normally? And should hip rotation in the throw be thought about on purpose or should it naturally happen through the weight transfer?
Closest spot this year would be Boston MA! Here is the info below www.firstdowntraining.com/service-page/boston-ma-qb-wr-camp?referral=service_list_widget
Hey coach, do you have any tips on how to deal with injuries? All year, my goal was to start in a freshman game (wr), and I was told I would next week, but I just broke my collarbone in practice earlier this week and I’m devastated. I can’t even go lift or anything for 3 months and I just don’t know what to do to keep myself feeling good and performing good when I get back
Honestly man, I would just rest & recover right now. All you can really do. I’d watch film and study some things you can do when you’re healthy. Make a workout plan to follow for yourself when you get back to being healthy. I’m sorry the injury happened but you will come back much better from this.
Hey coach! I was having some trouble with getting a tight spiral. It feels much more comfortable to hold the ball with 3 fingers on the laces, spaced like middle on 1, ring on 3 and pinky under 5. But I know that most coaches recommend to only have the pinky and ring on the laces. My spirals are also much tighter with the 3 fingers grip. Should I try to switch to the 2 finger grip, and if so, are the issues that I am having because of my mechanics or my small hand size? Thanks for the advice.
Honestly man, I would stick to the grip most comfortable. Sometimes guys are different like that where their grip isn’t the traditional one. If you feel comfortable and that you have good control of the ball, I’d stick with your grip
I’ve just started getting interested into football like a couple of months ago. And then my parents got me a football and I’ve been throwing it around a ton. Can you give any starter tips for me for qb, i practice with a full sized ball and I’m 12 and I can’t rlly throw that far.
