Well meter gauge is now history for Northeast frontier railways. Probably I was among the luckiest people to travel the entire NFR section onboard a meter gauge train , footplating BPB - KXJ section in LHF of the YDM4 locomotive .
The MG used to take hell lot of twist and turns which is absent in the recently converted BG.
YDM4's Small cabin with short head room, warm, noisy cab still was a different experience all together.
