My Great Grandmother died on Friday, she was cremated on saturday, and her funeral will be on Wednesday. When she was in the hospital she used to always ask me to sing this song for her. I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and singing this at her funeral. I love you Grandma Shirl and you did change me for good.

Even though this song is focusing on friendship, I always thought this would be a perfect duet for a couple or anyone in general. It's such a happy-sad song that I tend to cheer up after listening to songs like this.
I love hearing this song so much- it makes cry just hearing it, but I love that. To everyone who commented saying something similar, it's okay to be sad and to cry at something. Being sad, it's one of the few things we can do for ourselves to make us feel better, and in the end, we ALWAYS feel better because of it.

This song gives me chills especially where it says "I know you have rewritten mine by being my friend." There are a couple people who have done that for me. they've rewritten the story of my life by taking the time to know me, even though I am a very hard person to understand at times. I have a mild form of autism and it's really hard to get to know me because I'm locked up inside myself. my good friends have gotten to know me. thank you, you've truly changed my life for the better. For good.
I just wish there was some way that I could contact Stephen Schwartz, not because he's famous, not to congratulate him on writing the best musical the world will ever see... but to *thank* him for blessing my life with amazing and unbelievably emotional music. I always think of my friend Naoko whenever I hear this; she died on 14th September 2009. She learnt the English for this one song and we duetted it over the phone together :) I've got it recorded still and it makes me think ... I was lucky to have to her as a friend, however long it was for.

This song is very important to me because this year my best friend moved away.Not only to another house to a state over 7days away. We both like Wicked...Like we are obsessed..So on graduation day I decide to sing this to here after the actual ceremony.She joined in but we were such messes that we were crying whole song. Now when I ever I hear any form of this song it makes me sad.But it also makes me happy because everything said in this song is true for me and her.I have been changed for good.

This song is something special to me.Me and one of my best friends were going to see it, when she got in an car wreck. After that i was so heart broken that i cud not see it But then befor her funeral her mother came to me and asked me if i cud sing one of her favoritt songs at her funeral.
