Might’ve changed the titles so it’s still relevant in the YT algorithm. Either way the info is still relevant, other than the seasons and the statistics in steam he shows, which don’t matter as far as guides are concerned.

Same, i saw very big discount yesterday on steam and just bought it 2 hours ago for only 4$, still downloading rn The way i see this game is like souls game, it's very hard and skill based and maybe it's even harder than any souls game because it's multiplayer taken the skill gap even further. i don't expect to become a master in just few months and personally i love the process of getting good even if it means getting smacked for thousands times

@@callmeabsurd kensei is a solid pick,I pick kensei a lot in dominion,you just have the fundamentals down and kensei can be a monster in any game mode,but yeah sometimes it feels like like wherever hero you pick it feels like you are getting bullied,but I think is just the game being annoying

@@stretchwheel9958 I've played both For Honor and Dark Souls, like a lot, Howev er I'm not sure of what you mean. Meaning that DS is a harder game? If that's what your point I guess it's hard to compare. DS is single player or co op too, and yes npcs are tough and in For Honors case it's basically a pvp game, the story mode in FH is almost as if something developers included as an excuse. There is no story in it, everyone plays FH for the pvp aspect. And every game once we're fighting another person (some exceptions of course) instead of a machine it'll be harder. Anyway I'm just pointing this cause I don't see how both can be compared, if that's what you meabt,

@@felipeamaral6643 I'll keep it simple dark souls taught me getting hit is bad and that I should recognize patterns for attack opportunity and that mentality is good in for honor. I didn't say one was better or harder or that they're the same game.

I remember having to grind for so long to unlock all the heroes when the game came out, I remember having to do AI orders too. This game has come so far.

@@liesdamnlies3372 i got the standard edition, and i'm very stupid for it. but it isn't that bad. most daily orders give you 300 or 500 steel, making 7k/8k heroes just take a few days of grinding out dailies

I'm totally new to the game but of course I went ahead & started playing with a hero that has expiring guard stance... needless to say I have been screaming "IM ON THE RIGHT SIDE WHY IS IT NOT BLOCKING THE ATTACK"😂 only realized that it was an expiring stance yesterday hahaha, fml..

This is one of the better "new beginners guides" to For Honor that I've come across. Been trying to learn some FH, but as the "worlds only new player", I'm getting really punished by the matchmaker, only playing vs way more experienced players. Still, I like the concept and the game play. Had an old account from the game was new, but never really played it back then.

@@gunterderubergangster7925 it's a short term for "reputation" kind of like when you played call of duty you get a prestige well in for honor you get a rep after you leveled youre hero level 20 and you can go to rep70 max with each hero

I remember watching clips from this game but always hesitated in buying the game proper. But now that for honor went free for a month last year and I just so happened to Iove the game, I was wondering if there was any person that knows the game and could teach me the basics. This was overall very helpful and I’m starting to take a liking to fast characters and hybrids.

Hey, pretty good vid. Was pretty in depth and explained pretty much everything well! The only thing I can’t say I agree with was your class analysis, it’s a pretty outdated system tho so I can’t blame ya. Anyone reading this and doesn’t have the game: assassins are not fast. Attack speed is pretty much the same across the board. Also, don’t you dare talk bad about the campaign, that was an international treasure and half the communities source of memes XD

@@Ghost-xz7gp hey! Yeah you can unlock them as time goes on. You start off with the 4 standard abbilities for a character and then you use your in-game currency that you collect after each round. But you have to go up levels aswell. Each character has their own skills aswell.

Its a hard game. You usually win as much as you lose so its a wierd system. But once you get used to it the game grows on you

You are not friend. You will be playing with and against evenly skilled players so don’t worry. You will get stomped to oblivion here and there but use those as skillcheks, and push forward.

Hello, I have 4500ish hours in smash ultimate, a few tournament wins, and play non stop. I want to get really get at for honor but know nothing, using Conqueror I've been winning 30% with bare minimum tools and basic neutral. Im confident I can learn quickly and would love higher level tips for people who can pick up tech and options quickly. Let's start a discussion! :)

I bought Marching fire but I only got access to 6 base heroes and the 4 dlc heroes. Each of the base characters costs 8000 to recruit too.
