I am a Hongkonger, here are some more details: 0:17 the only meaning, thus the only possible translation of this line in Cantonese is "I am injecting sth. into you through this jab!". It is very likely to be a reference/parody on the poisonous bullet dart in AC Rogue, one of the sequels to black flag, and the current pandemic, to jab you, the player, with vaccine. It also somewhat explained why her pistol does so little damage. 0:33 痕 in particular means itchy, physically. the line means "(this wound) is just a little scratch" 0:37 -the meaning of this line, especially in that tone, would be "my end had not yet come/ that didn't got me", instead of the one mentioned in the video, which in Cantonese will be "(我)重未死得住".- (correction: the translation in this vid is also possible, and given the context it is the more appropriate translation)

"Now you're in deep shit" is the exact feeling I get when I finally manage to earn that light-parry

I like to imagine "giving you a new hole" could also be "I'm gonna rip you a new one." I don't know anything about the language but it definitely fits pirate

First of all, awesome translations! But does anybody feel that Pirate’s voice sounds oddly loud/clear compared to all the other heroes? The others’ lines sound like they’re coming from the character, but Pirate sounds like she’s talking from the camera.

I’ve been waiting for translations lol, wanted to know what she said every time she parried.

I love to see the weapon evolution in this game, it started with swords, axes and katanas and yet was able to get into the state of advance bioweapons and guns, really makes one belive that in the next 6 years, we will get a nuke (aside from an already existing spear storm)

my only complain as a cantonese speaker is that her accent is very formal. she almost sounds like someone from a big city like Guangzhou or something. but overall it is pretty solid, and it is good to see some cantonese representation
