@Gunslinger8744 as a full time viking I disagree. It seems a lot of people dislike the viking faction simply because they win more. If you log on to the game rightnow no matter what year or month you will see that they are currently winning. If you only dislike them because you enjoy a different faction more...then I respect that and that is all that needs to be said. But when people complain about an entire faction being trash!!!...it seems more like a skill issue from the person playing
As messed up as Highlander is right now, I still love his moveset. Not for the actual functionality, but because of all the little flourishes and tricks you can pull. Highlander has a lot of secret things that only Highlander mains understand how to do. I mean, come on, what other character has an entire move in their moveset, labelled like every other attack, which is actually just an emote? Highlander and Jiang Jun just have an energy to them that no other character has. A moveset which allows you to make your opponent look like a fool, but requiring skill to do so is so much fun to play with. And his sword is bigger than yours. That makes him automatically better in every way. (Note: I’m a Warlord main, being able to kill more than one minion with a single attack is wild to me)
As a Raider player. Stun tap should be gone, but the Stun knee? That should be brought back, it's a good punisher. If Centurion can still turn on a charged punch, for less, why can't we have a stun knee?
As a highlander main you are correct, but for all the pain we go through fighting people, and the endless losses against others, that one win will be celebrated in the halls of Valhalla.
as a relatively new guy that didn't play before his rework I can agree 100% that I love swinging a big stick with a hunk of metal slapped on it and scream at people until they go deaf
As a warlord main I can confirm I do not like veggies and I like doing my school work and reporting unrelated academic activity in my class to the teacher (this is satire)
No I truly believe that it’s just the learning curve feels more like a 90 degree angle instead of an actual curve. He’s just also not my type of playstyle

I'm an OG rep 70 Valk and I might be the only Valk that doesn't like the new bash. Part of why I loved the character was her sheer aggresiveness and flow. Her og bash, although not the hardest to dodge, you could do some tricky stuff, like following it up with a heavy on whiff. I just HATE that stupid pause the new bash has, in interrupts all flow and it feels clunky as hell. Also they changed the funny slap the bash did back on the testing grounds and replace with a low T lil stab.
i hate it too although im not rep 70 og i agree it really interupts the free flow valk used to have. this bash is "better" in every way but the old bash felt better.
this is a safe comment section where people can voice their own opinons on heros they like or dont like. dont attack me or other people based on opinions were all human. stereotypes in this video are all for comedic effect and not to be taken seriously. obviously not every person plays every hero the exact same.
As a Highlander main…. I feel called out. I will play other players just to pick him the very next game cause my cope is so high I physically can’t play anyone else
I actually picked up Jorm after the rework, and I gotta say, I'm in love. I'm sure stamina bully Jorm was fun to play but right now the amount of heavies I can trick my opponent into eating is insane.
I can assure you it was not fun to play lmao. People would turtle against stamina bully jorm every fight cause why would you use stamina against someone who punished stamina use.
I personally love Raider and do everything I can to avoid team damage when ganking, but good god, I can be behind the enemy and still hit my friend in front of them with a heavy somehow.
I'd like to add a third kind of Highlander player. Scottish people. As a Scot myself, the amount of friends i have that play highlander purely because hes Scottish is insane-
yea if there was a greek spartan i would main him till i die. it must be really cool having someone in a fighting game thats also tied to your country.
I have never played highlander but I am always stunned by how hard his heavies hit. He's also on the quicker side despite his size. I don't enjoy fighting him
Hes an odd one. Because youll fight one that only light light heavys you to death and then turn around and fight an offense stance demon that 400ms light, wave dashes and kick/grabs you to death the next match. His skill ceiling is so high that hes unlike any other hero and youll instantly be able to tell how good the person is with him based on those two outcomes. If he knows to hold heavy on light parry and can wave dash you alot, youll be in for a bad time.
I Just got back into the game after about a 4 years break and got straight back into grinding reps. I’m here to say that despite Highlander not being the best, good god he’s a breath of fresh air after grinding with Medjay, that character is the most boring brain dead character I’ve played yet and almost made me go on another 4 year break. But highlander has been fun
Two things. One is that you are very charitable towards berzerker players, and two, is that I can't wait for the average orochi player to be called the lime scunt of the game next video.
I play raider soley to do the running grab and ledge people. I have him rep 6 and thats almost the only thing i do on him. I fight when needed but always go for the ledge run

Literally have 8 reps overall on the viking faction. I never play them, none of them seem fun or engaging besides shaman and valk, even then theyre a hard maybe.
Shaman only wants nibble neckys👉👈 But for real, shaman is fun if you play her hyper aggressive, she feels like an angry little ball that runs across the map at high speed. A good trick with her is doing a left heavy into gb cancel after landing a bite or in neutral, it will give a free gb if they try to parry on zone timing. She has alot of options and is quite hard to Play optimaly, especially with those darn teammates constantly interrupting my bite. I agree that most people just spam zone and softfeint light, and its quite annoying, but not all of us are evil :D
Lets be real...the reason you Jormungandr mains play as Male Jorm is for the exact same reason all the Tiandi Mains play as Female Tiandi. You guys just really want to make everyone's Ears bleed.
How do I always manage to play the stereotypical "annoying" characters? Orochi, Warmonger (to an extent), and Shaman are all characters I play consistently. It's not a sign, is it?
As someone who has only got Highlander to rep 7 I love playing him but I hardly ever use his offensive form because it uses to much stamina and I get smacked out of it. I used to enjoy Jorm but I despise him since his rework same as valk I don't like her rework.
I’ve had a guy tell me he hated me because I played Warlord. What was the reason? Because he said I was a “turtle”. Full guard is something I don’t really use surprisingly. I mean the guy played lawbringer and he’s complaining 😂
what do you mean with highlander? highlander is fun. sure his moveset is kinda very out dated and you will lose agains dogie boys but he is just pure fun and you can't deny that his attacks feel satisfying
Man my friend who mains alot of the vikings i only like playing as 2 of them only when i have a order to play as one, would be very upset watching this video. I mostly main the Knight and the Wu Lin just Tiandi, Nuxia and Zhanhu the rest i could care less about. Now i have played almost all of the vikings and i felt dirty after playing them that i touched them once and then never again.
Man I just think Vikings are the coolest faction and it’s not even close. Not from a gameplay perspective at all, I just fuck with Vikings hard. I like axes and shit. Idk why. So as berserker main who literally goes for deflects to my own detriment most of the time, I see this as a win. 😂
I can’t stand fighting or playing as the Vikings. I only come across folk who use these heroes for the cheese, and I can’t figure out how to use any of them properly. This sucks for I love the Viking in many other games.
Warlord used to be so fun when he had the furthest omnidirectional throw and you could get a guardbreak off of a heavy parry. Literally all he needs to have in order to be fun is a soft feint into gb. I mained him for years and cant play him anymore bc he is just too basic. Also his fashion sucks
i love duels in this game it’s really the highlight of this game i have no idea why they would ever make dominion it’s one of the worst multiplayer experiences i’ve ever played. why the fuck would i want to play dominion a 4v4 mode in a fighting game. also why the fuck are all the maps complete dogshit. no space or room to fight whatsoever. fighting game give me a flat arena and 1v1 that is what is fun in this game and it should be the fucking standard. why does NO ONE PLAY THE ONLY FUN PART ABOUT THIS GAME. WHY DOES NO ONE PLAY THE 1v1 MODE IN THE FIGHTING GAAAAMMME.
if you dont like highlander you either just lack the mental capacities to learn to play him properly (you suck) or you're just not made to play this game
