I believe it was 75 & 76 only? that were the front slant nose style Chevy Laguna S3 also with the louver rear side windows. The slant nose made enough of a slight aerodynamic improvement to put it on a NASCAR winning streak and get banned. I dunno if it was technically called a Chevy Chevelle Laguna S3 or just Chevy Laguna S3. My brother had a beat up slant nose in 87 in high school. The engine had some type of mods done for more power before he bought it. I didn't think it was a very cool car back then. Now I'd love a slant nose restomod. Add a front splitter & small tastefully done rear spoiler. I think these would have been cooler if they were a shorter wheelbase & a 2 seater.
Very nice looking car. Great paint and stripe treatment. Rear wing spoiler definitely an add on by someone, but it looks ok. What about the drivetrain? How many HP you said? Interior looks just decent, nothing to brag about. I would do some things with this car to make it better.
It's actually an option on the Chevelle line. For 73 the emblem was in cursive and it was just called Laguna, the SS was the top sport option. For 74-76 the SS was no longer an option and the Laguna Type S3 was now the top sport option.
