Bro I’ve played competitive soccer for years and I can vouch for her and say that this is exactly what it’s like doing any competitive sport or even any competitive activity at all.
Omg i do rock climbing too. Except I have 3 days practices a week and I go to the gym with my friends to shadow coach younger teams on Thursdays and comps during the season
I hate and love volleyball for this reason. can't really have a social life but a bunch of my friends that I really enjoy hanging out with are on my team, which makes it really easy to hang with them!
any activity sucks up so much time. i do theatre at my school and we do a lot of shows every year. typically, i don’t get home till 7:30 on school days and there’s stuff every weekend too. we also don’t have seasons (except for contest season which is the worst), we go even through summer and winter break
I'm also a volleyball player and have 2 practices a week, hitters training, libero training,a tounament. But like once I came to a tornament at 6:00 AM and it was supposed to start at 8:00 AM but I was there till 9:00 PM and it was an hour away!
This is exactly like Tech Week as a theatre kid. You have rehearsal for two weeks straight, and for me at least, it usually starts an hour after school ends and goes until 8 pm. And if you have an important role, you can forget about your plans for three months. Wouldn't change it for a thing, thought😂😊
I have this problem all the time. I was playing for my school this year and I had 4 hour practices everyday. Even though I had time, I was SO tired that I just didn’t want to do anything. When I played club we had tournaments at 5:00 AM and they lasted like 3 days. Volleyball and really any sport are hard work, but I love volleyball so much I wouldn’t trade it for the world!
"Wanna hang out?" "Sure! 😃When?" "Tomorrow?" "Can't. Show Choir and two Ensemble Choir rehearsals on Mondays and Fridays." "What about Tuesday?" "Tutoring." "Wednesday?" "G.S.A." (Gay-Straight Alliance. It was my only time where it was safe to be out.) "Thursday?" "German Club." "Saturday?" "Guitar Ensemble competition." "Sunday?" "Chores and practicing guitar and mandolin and working on the choreo so I have it down and can pick up the new stuff on Monday." (Ended up having to drop the one show choir I was in because of grades.)
Bruh this hits far too close to home 😅I had a friend who could never hang out because of volleyball and it made me really sad because after we stopped being friends, I had another friend that told me that my old friend just told me that she had volleyball but actually didn’t 😭
No because theater is like this to in rehearsal season we’re there everyday until around 10 or so and then we go again the next day untill opening night and then we don’t get to leave until 11 or 12 and when there isn’t a musical or play we’re in classes or workshops 💀✋
I do Irish dance, jazz, and show choir, and yep this is me. “Sleepover this weekend?” “Can’t, show choir competition.” “Call tonight?” “Sorry, dance class.” Next year when I’m in 8th grade, I might drop Irish, but I’m thinking of picking up theater, so it’ll be the same. Haha, busy schedule but absolutely worth it!
I was gonna say, as a former volleyball player we had games 3 days a week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday) and practice on Monday. If we didn’t have a game one of those 3 days then we’d have practice then too. And games on Saturdays lol
This is my sister with basketball😅 I swear she’s either practicing with her team, playing a game, practicing with her friend, practicing alone or sleeping🤣
I did colorguard in marching band for a year and a half. It starts at the beginning of July where we had all day practices all week. Then during the school year, 3 hour practice on monday, hiyr practice on thursday, friday night football games, and whatever sectionals were planned. Then we had conpetition every weekend for 5 weeks in a row. Then, when marching band season ended, we had 2 hour practices on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, plus practices for solor and ensemble, and competitions. It was wild.
i do colorguard and my schedule is about to become this after this summer :,) at the beginning of june theres fundamentals camp, then july is choreography camp and then band camp which are both like a week. friday night football games, 3 hour practices, wooohoo!
I’m a swimmer and I have to be at practice every. Single. Day. Sometimes we get sundays off if we aren’t at meets, and I will take a Wednesday off every now and then to do homework 😅
i’m a dancer for my school and almost every day if the week i have something. i would have practice on tuesdays and thursdays and then a lot of the times i would have to perform somewhere. it’s tiring sometimes and sometimes i can’t schedule everything that i want to do. i get your daughter very much.
My heart is filled with joy to hear your daughter is a setter and everything she has scheduled lol. It really takes me back but instead of going to hitters training to be a good hitter I went to have better compatibility with a variety of hitters cause they always needs setters
bruh I've played volleyball since like 4th grade and I have practice every weekday from may-october and games every Saturday. AND that's not even including mandatory camps at colleges 😭😭🙏🙏
I also do ice skating, I mainly focus on Synchro, but also work on jumps and spins. The summer is my solo season, November-February is synchro competition, end of summer-November is practice to get ready for competitions, and then I get a 1-1.5 month break before tryouts in April. Most of my solo practices are in the mornings before school though(6-7) so I get afternoons free, especially this year when my team practices were Sunday/Saturday mornings(earlier than weekdays)
i also skate, im more recreational tho, i have practice on monday, wednesday, and friday mornings from 6:30 - 8:30, tuesday and thursday after school from like 5 - 8 and saturdays from 9 - 1, i only really compete with syncro but i do occasionally do solo comps and we have an ice show for the public so all of march/feb is ice show season
Never seen anything more relatable😂 committing to volleyball is tough! It’s always practice, traveling, tournament, then the next day it’s practice again. It’s extra work if you become a national team!
Literally me besides I’m a middle hitter and I have team practice Tuesday and Saturday, hitters practice Sunday and Monday so it’s pretty busy lol and on the other days I have Lacrosse
i’m a ballerina and i feel this in my soul. class immediately after school monday-friday, get home at 10. morning class in saturdays, with specialty classes after. not to mention performance season, rehearsal most days, always on saturday (depends what part) and performance weeks sometimes i miss school 🥲 and sunday is recovery day and my social battery is at a -100%. also a shit ton of HW
Right??? This is literally my sports schedule. Basketball/soccer/softball (whatever season it is) Monday- Thursday, farm chores on Friday (not including school), summer softball practice Saturday for 1 and half hours, catching for 1 hour and 15 minutes Sunday and then it starts all over again. Summer softball went from January/February ish to end of July then I had tryouts in august and then practices started November 5th and it’s still going on.
I feel her! My academics are SUPER important to me, but I am in comp dance with competitions every weekend from Friday- Sunday, volleyball (school), cross country and softball!
I did two music activities and it was like this, and I didn’t even do the most extent on either of them (like extra practices). 14 hour days 5 days a week and then competitions/Saturday practices.
this is my friend, and it drives me nuts sometimes but she loves it. even though I don’t understand it at all, I support her. sometimes you gotta listen to the ramble about sports jargon, even if you don’t know what any of it means 🤷🏻♀️
I play travel softball and this is the most relatable thing I’ve seen in a while. My friend and I just hung out for the first time since we met 3 years ago 😭
Omg why is this so relatable, im a basketball player and I hav 2 hour practice Monday through Friday and I do weight training, and basketball trainings. Plus I hav 2 more 1 and a half hour practices and tournaments and games every week so this vid is the most relatable one I’ve seen today!
I’m a competitive swimmer, and I’ve been doing it four like eight years I think, it’s just like this. I swim five days a week at five in the morning and on weekends I drive two hours to go to swim meets and when I have time off I’m spending it training for championship meets or going to swim workshops with Olympic swimmers, I’m 13, it’s an intense sport.
